Okay, so I have had the same email with Hotmail for like 6 years now. I have never changed the password or had any issues with it up until now. Recently I got an Xbox 360 & recovered my very old xbox live account using my email. The entire day it worked
perfectly fine. The next day, however, I was suddenly locked out of my account ! It said "it looks like someone else might be using your account, to make sure its you choose one of 3 options" the first 2 options were for them to either text or call you with
a code, then you enter it and your good. The third option was "cant verify account". Now, unfortunately the number registered for my hotmail is an oooolllddd number (as i said, the account itself is like 6 years old) & there is no option to change the number
it texts or calls. So I had to click the "cant verify account" option. When I did it took me to this questionare that your supposed to fill out that asks all sorts of questions about your account info. Such as, recently sent email subject lines, emails of
people you have recently emailed, security question and answer & xbox live info. Now, I have done this questionare 3 times ! They for some reason won't accept it & I have literally entered as much info I can possibly think of. Its hard for me because i'm currently
job hunting and have been applying to ALOT of places online so I certainly don't remember all the emails or subject lines for ALL the different places I applied. But i still filled out as much as i possibly could, including the didgets of my Xbox live prepaid
card. You would think that would be enough, but apparently not. Im at a point where I am verrrryyyyy frustrated as its been days now and I STILL can't access my email even though IT IS my account ! I use my email dailey for job applications & interviews. I
actually have an interview tomorrow but don't know the times or anything because its ALL in my email ! So if anyone could help me out or give me a number I can call for some assistance with a real person, it would be MUCH appreciated.
As I said before, after 6 years with hotmail I haven't ever been this frustrated with it. Im out of ideas & am on the verge of switching email providers (which still is REALLY not ideal because I still need all my interview info & whatnot) but again, i'm completely
lost on what else I can do !

I have created this new outlook account just to log this issue.
I've had a hotmail.com email account for years but not accessed it for a while and I really need to access it for some urgent emails but am unable to log in. I keep getting the message: The Microsoft account is incorrect. Please try again.
I know and am 100% sure that the emails address I am entering is correct but it still says it doesn't exist. This is the first time i'm trying to access it since the outlook.com changes so it may be something to do with that. It won't even let me create a new account with the same email address which implies it still exists.
I have seen on the forum other people have the same problem and it was not mis-typing the email addresses or issues like that. So if someone could please have a look as I need to access my hotmail account asap that would be much appreciated.

I am a programmer, looking for .NET Developer type adds in my inbox. Have made several changes to the options in Outlook, but I am getting many mail sent to my Junk rather than my inbox. I have to "Clean Out" my Junk folder each day so I can put the Net Developer adds to my inbox.

I'm having trouble setting outlook.com up and syncing calendars for a friend
I originally setup using hotmail on the ipad and iphone and evernts setup on outlook.com calendar synced to the ipad and iphone but not the otherway around
so I thought i would use exchange server option - so deleted the account on ipad
resetup with the exhange server option - BUT did not get asked or confirm server ID (m.outlook.com or m.hotmail.com)
as expected
and this time no sync with outlook.com at all
now i tested this with a friends ipad and hotmail account earlier in the week and when he setup the account in the ipad for hotmail using the exchange server it confirmed the m.hotmail.com server ID
and events entered on the calendar synced back to hotmail.com calendar
this will be my third visit to a friend to setup the calendar
she just wants
WLM client calendar to sync to outlook.com calendar and iphone and ipad -
and work the other way
iphone/ipad to outlook.com to wlm

For the last few days (since ~07/22), I am able to create new messages, including respond or forward from previously received or sent messages, but there is no send command or button anywhere in the email and thus I am unable to send anything. I can save
to draft, but no ability to send...
And it doesn't matter whether I'm using Firefox or IE 10.
Anyone else have this problem - or knows a solution to it?

How do I get into my other email accounts now that they've taken away the ability to link accounts? I can't even seem to access a log-in page...keeps going right to my main email's inbox.
Just like most of you here I'm having problems with my (Linked/Sync) accounts. I have tried to relink them but still can't find my other account. So can some body tell me how to find and sign into my other Microsoft account. Or does outlook have us by the Balls.

In my account it says "Your messages are in your pop folder Some other program is set to download and delete your messages from Outlook. Just in case this was an accident, we've put them in a special POP folder. Not an accident? Change settings" how can

Dear Sir/Madam,
I'm struggling with the Outlook.com/mobile version, installed on my HTC Android phone. Once I see the list of incoming messages in the Inbox and I want to send a reply, I indeed get into the 'reply' window and I can type my message. But then if I want to send the message; unfortunately I cannot find the 'SEND' button in the window. (Same problem by the way when I want to forward a message!). So my question is: Where do I find the Send button once I have composed a message in both 'reply' and 'forward' mode. Thank you for your attention to this matter.
