The link from the right-hand corner drop down menu disappeared. When I try to reconnect them it is giving me an error message. Could you please help solving this problem so I don't have to sign and re-sign between my accounts?
Thank you

Please don't tell my I have to go to password recovery page.
For about a week I have been locked out of my account. When I logged in Monday, it said they believe someone else might be using my account. I followed the prompts to fill out additional details like animals name, zip code, previous emails sent. It did not work. I did it again. It did not work the second time.
I called customer service. No help.
I was on messenger with customer service. Nothing.
Then I get an email from Microsoft, advising me to just open a new account because I've tried to many times.
I cannot open a new account as I have recently been applying for jobs and this is the email I use.
Today, I log in to see if I can get into my account, AND I am able to get in! Usually it only shows 1 email to send a reset link to, but today it showed my other Hotmail email that I use. I log into that one, click on the link to get into my account I've been locked out of. I update my personal account details and I change my password. Then I log out. When I logged back in, I get the same error message, that someone is trying to use my account, and it NO LONGER shows that there is a 2nd backup email address. So, once again I am locked out!
Please help as this email is very important to my life and finding a job. Thank you!
I am running bing as my homepage. At the top of the daily bing picture are the pull down menus for Web, Images, Videos,
etc. At the end of the list is OUTLOOK.COM. I click here and I get immediate access to an open page of my "inbox", showing
all the new emails I have received. I DO NOT have to enter any usernames or passwords to get in, the inbox page automatically
loads itself. I am going on holidays in a week and would like to lock down this feature until I return.
How do I prevent OUTLOOK.COM from opening if an unauthorized user tries to open my email...?
- You need to cancel any paid services or Microsoft Points account associated with your Microsoft account.
- You need to deactivate your Hotmail account. Once you've done that, your Microsoft account will be closed automatically after a period of inactivity.
