I have installed Office 365 on two computers and have a SkyDrive option for each.  However, they appear to be two separate drives.  What I upload from Computer #1 is accessible from computer #1 only.  What is uploaded from computer #2 is accessible only from computer #2.  How do I obtain just one drive in the cloud, accessible from either computer?

Can anyone please tell me the easiest way to copy video from my PC (i.e. YouTube avi recordings )

onto a dvd that will play on a dvd recorder as files should be MPEG???

just wondering I want to send an email to someone in Thailand and she wont be able to read English, so how do I do this?

Hi,

In the quest for the perfect "cloud" storage, I find it hard to have only 7Gb of storage (base storage), or in my case, over 40Gb (through Office and old account) in the cloud, when 3 and 4 TB HDDs become more affordable by the day.

Currently, I have a desktop with 10TB of storage inside. Skydrive (40Gb of web-storage) is linked to that desktop via the Windows 7 desktop sync app. I can browse the files, add them, copy them, do whatever I like with them. It works as intended.

But the question I'm asking myself is : "I have 10TB of storage, and I can only see 40Gb through my phone and tablet's respective Skydrive app's."

I know I can Remote Fetch files on my Desktop, but that works only through the web browser, not the app.

So this is my question: Is it possible to transpose the ENTIRE Skydrive cloud-storage, and run it off my Desktop? Basically, having my OWN Skydrive-powered cloud? Perhaps as a "Role", or a "Service"? That way, pictures I take with my phone or tablet, for example, end up directly on the Desktop via the "Camera Roll" folder, and have no limit on storage other than my own HDDs?

Thank you, in advance

Hi,

This does not occur everytime, but most of the times when I log in to Outlook.com:

This problem only affects one of my computers so it's not a problem with the site, it look like a problem confined to this particular computer.
I'm trying to identify what could be wrong.
As anyone experienced this error before and has a solution? (please refrain from suggestions like reinstalling Windows, or use another computer, or upgrade to Windows 8 or the like).
I've tried using another browser on the same machine and the same problem occurs.
Specs: Internet Explorer 8 (and Chrome), Windows XP SP3, with the latest updates installed.

Any suggestions on what could be wrong and things to try?

Thank you for your time.

I bought University 365 a week ago and used my university account. Now every time I try to login into this account to check emails it won't let me and brings up an error page that states "You're currently signed in with an Office 365 email account, which can't be used with Outlook.com. Please click here to sign out of your Office 365 account, then use another Microsoft account to sign in to Outlook.com (for example, your hotmail.com, live.com, or msn.com account)." What do I do? I really need to get into this account ASAP.
Skydrive suddenly stopped working today on my Dell Inspiron 1525 laptop - windows 8. It is still working on my Surface Pro. I get the message "couldn't find your skydrive folder" on my laptop but the local Skydrive folder is still there. Skydrive website states that it cannot connect to my PC - laptop. When I click on reconfigure skydrive from the couldn't find folder message box there is a brief response. The skydrive icon appears for about 1 second on the task bar and then disappears. If I click on my laptop skydrive folder, the items lose their syncing status icons and become normal folders without green ticks. I cannot restart from the skydrive icon in the task bar as advised as it is not visible anywhere except for the 1 second after clicking on the reconfigure button. I have both windows 8 and desktop apps for Skydrive installed on my laptop. The desktop version takes me to my skydrive folder and triggers the above error message.

I have added a test file to my local skydrive folder on my laptop. It has not been synced to the cloud so the sync has clearly stopped working with my PC.

Restarting the PC makes no difference. Please help.
