Have been using Bell.ca as my e-mail provider for over 20 years.  Bell uses Outlook.com.  My issue is that I would like to switch my e-mail provider to Videotron.ca.  From what I understand, I will need to create a new e-mail address and inform all my old contacts.  Question is how can use Outlook.com so that I do not have to change e-mail addresses again in the future even if I change providers.  Also, is there any way of still receiving my old e-mail from Bell.  Thanks
I keep marking them as junk, but they keep coming to my inbox.  I tried to filter but it won't let me send stuff to the junk folder by rule and I can't block senders with a wildcard in the address.  How about I forward everything mentioning Fidelity to bill gates, what's his email address?

Hello,

I am unable to locate a setting to change the refresh times on a subscribed ical calendar in Outlook.com's calendar. Is there a setting I am missing? I understand that push and the such is not doable, but being able to set how often outlook.com pulls the ical is something Microsoft does control. If there is no setting and no plan do provide this control to users, can you tell me what the ical refresh is currently set to? Is it every 24 hours, every 12 hours?

I had to get a new password for my hotmail yesterday.  a notification popped up on my phone which said "unable to sign into Hotmail"  I had not been trying to do that, I was having a phone conversation.  When I finished, I tried on my phone to access my email, to no avail... So I tried my computer and the same thing....the password was wrong.  I had been using this password for a long time.  I made a new password and I can now get in..  But I am confused as to why this happened in the first place.  Does this mean my account my have been compromised?
When I try to create a new custom email folder, I'm told that I'm at the limit of my custom folders.  That would be OK if I could rename some of my existing folders to broaden their use and delete the more specific folders I have.  However, I can find no menu or buttons to click when I'm signed in to my Outlook.com account that will allow me to delete or rename an existing email folder.  Any help on this would be appreciated.
I need help. I can't remember all the details to recover my password. I really need this account.

Thanks for your help,

Jeremy

When creating a "new" rule, Outlook asks for sender information: "Select from the options below to determine which messages are affected."

I chose "Sender" and "contains".

Then, the instructions state: "Step 2: What action do you want to apply?"

From drop-down in "Move to Inbox" list, I finally discovered I could choose the Junk folder.

However, I can't figure out how to indicate exactly who it is that I want to affect. The process never offers an option to describe the Sender.

Previously, this function worked. I know, because I've already got five similar rules in there.

Now, I'm stuck at this point. There's nowhere to insert my "Facebook" entry or any other partial Sender's name. I want these messages to go back to the Junk folder again.

I would like to know what happens from the a blocked sender's perspective when they send me an email. Do they find out they've been blocked so they will stop trying to send me emails or is their message simply prevented from appearing in my inbox and instead deleted?

Thank you,
Robert
