Outlook/hotmail only showing emails under 2 weeks old. What have I done? I need the info in old emails

I have recently bought a new convertible laptop/tablet with Windows 8 and think I have changed the settings somehow on my outlook/hotmail account as I can now only see emails under 2 weeks old in my folders.  I really need the info stored there.  Can I get them back somehow???  Any help really appreciated.

I have recently installed Windows 8 on my Desktop PC, having previously tried it 4 months ago.  I reverted to Windows 7 for 4 months, but have now gone back to Windows 8.  Since I have installed Windows 8 this week, I have noticed that SkyDrive has not saved any changes to documents made over the last 4 months.  I have checked my Windows 7 laptop, and logged in to the SkyDrive website, and that too has reverted to documents with a timestamp of March/April.  Please can someone help me as I have lost a lot of work!  Thanks

I cant access my email address. When I click the link to 'can't access your account?' It says I have reached the limit of number of attempts to recover my password. I have been told this only last 24 hours but when I tried again a few days later it still said the same thing despite having deleted cookies and cache. I have tried filling out a questionnaire and a validation form in the hope to recover my email address however when Microsoft said they would be back in touch with me in the next 24 hours with a response (for both of these) I did not receive anything. I know I am putting the correct password in for my account up until one day it said it was incorrect. I can only see answers to these type of questions which involve resetting my password and that is something that I am unable to do. I also cannot recover password from an old email address either due to not being able to remember that account's password. Please help.

This question has been posted earlier on the forums with 4 replies. None of these replies helped with solving my issue.
I downloaded GTA IV and tried to play it. It worked for a while but in order to save the game I would need Games for Windows LIVE installed.
I installed the program and it said it would need Windows Live ID Sign-in Assistant to be installed and something about an update.
A link sent me to a download page on the microsoft website which downloaded wllogin_64.msi
When trying to install this, it said; Windows Live ID Sign-in Assistant Setup Wizard ended prematurely due to an error. The system has not been edited. If you want to install this program sometime, execute the setup wizard again.

I am running Windows 7 64 bit. I have full administrator rights.

If anyone can help me out it would be great!

Outlook email wont refresh from 4pm to 7pm EST daily since 7/29 to present.  All computers and phone.  Different internet sources.  Called and no help.

unknown contact sneaked in

There is an unknown contact sneaked into my Hotmail account *** Email address is removed for privacy *** .  Its email address is *** Email address is removed for privacy *** . 

 

This email address only appears on the drop-down manual of frequent contacts, each time I clicked the 'Send' function to type a new email to send.

 

This email address does not appear on my contacts list, where I add or remove a contact.  Therefore, it cannot be managed or deleted from

my Hotmail account. 

 

Can you help out?

 

It has certificate info showing:  issued by VeriSign Class 3 Extended Validation SSL SGC CA

                                                  issued to mail.live.com

                                                  from May 20/2013 to May 22/2015

                                                  intended purposes:  ensures the identity of a remote computer

 

Can you send me instructions steps to remove this email address from my drop-down manual of frequent contacts in the 'Send' function.

My emails are missing!

I use my account daily and it worked fine but today, suddenly, I lost all my emails. I have noticed that there are some on POP but not all of them. Haven't done an upgrade or anything that can have caused this.
I need to retrieve my mails urgently, I use this account for work.  Tried all suggestions posted here, tried recovery of deleted message but to no avail.  Please help!  thank you
