Hello there,
I am trying to COPY emails from gmail.com to outlook.com. Microsoft articles that I've found say to use "Trueswitch," but the link given, as well as going to "trueswitch.com" results in an error message indicating that the service has gone offline.
I know that gmail has a built-in way to migrate messages from one account to gmail; I was wondering if outlook.com had this or if there was another way to get the messages from gmail.com to outlook.com.
Thanks!
Hello,
My hotmail account was recently hacked. The first time I tried to do an account recovery it came back that I needed more detailed information. I had friends send me e-mails that I had sent them so I think the second time I tried to do an account recovery I had very detailed information about who and what I was e-mailing. I have not heard anything back yet about the second recovery and this has been over 3 weeks ago. I did not have any of my contacts backed up so right now I can't even try to e-mail my contacts to let them know what is going on. I know that I have missed some very important e-mails and would like help in trying to get back into my hotmail account.
Thanks,
Dian Brannen
I have been using Skydrive for a couple of months to try to save our family photos in a 21st century way. Uploading had been going well - on the days when I have had time I have been able to stick a few hundred images onto my sliver of the MS cloud for a total count of over 10GB.
Then in the last few days I noticed that:
A I can only upload one picture at a time (GRRRRR ..... )
B There is no longer a % display on the upload so I can't tell even how long this will take and
C When a picture's filename turns out to be a duplicate - not uncommon when you go through more than 1 device in 4/5 years - SD no longer gives the option of renaming itself but cuts the upload and tells me to "rename locally and try again" (response: concise and unprintable).
I have been a hotmail user for about 17 years (does that make me a loser BTW?) and paid extra for 50GB storage for our albums. I have also upgraded / deleted and used various versions of Silverlight on 2 machines to try to make this work and it still doesn't.
Could someone please tell me what has happened? And if this change is irreversible help me transfer my files to another account and get a refund for the storage to which I no longer have practicable access?
Thanks and regards etc.
Giles
