Hello, I was wondering if this was a legit email from Microsoft. If not i'll report it to Microsoft right away.
Hi, my inbox with over 2000 messages has gone , I haven't deleted them .
All I did I tried to subscribe and download SkyDrive to back up my document files , when I noticed all my document files plus my old emails has been vanished ( as if it was deleted) .
By restoring my computer I managed to get back me documents files but my email *** Email address is removed for privacy *** shows nothing inside.
Plus when I try to send an email to myself it doesn't come through , where do my emails go???.
Also where is my contacts ???? , my email say "Wow, you have a very clean inbox! (Did you know you can receive messages from
other email accounts?)" .
please help to resolve this problem, I use my email daily regularly.
I have an email account that I can currently access.
I had another account that was linked to this account for several years.
Microsoft removed the linked accounts and I have forgotten the password.
I have tried to verify my ownership to this account but the validation email linked to the forgotten account is my ex-girlfriends and we are no longer on speaking terms. I cannot find a way to change this email address.
I have also submitted several forms to validate my ownership, completing the forms with 100% correct information. I know this information is correct, however the automated process does not validate my ownership.
I have now submitted two support tickets via Microsoft Customer Support (@css.one.microsoft.com), but when I get a response and click on the link to view the incident, I get an error: *** Email address is removed for privacy *** cannot view this incident.
I have contacted Microsoft Support and they have told me that I cannot speak to anyone regarding this issue, and that I must resubmit the same form I have already submitted 4 times!
Please advise how I should resolve this issue.

I created a hotmail address months ago just to sync OneNote on my PC to my iPad. During the past few months by PC crashed and I lost the data that was backeup there. No problem, since I just kept working on my iPad.
Then the new version of OneNote came out and logged my out on my iPad. When I tired logging in this morning I had forgotten my password so I opted to reset. Through about three times of trying my account has been blocked and since I never sent mails from this account, or created any folders or added any adresses to my contacts the system has decided that I do not exist.
This is not a paid account so the call centre has been unable to assist me.
I have created a new Microsoft user ID to be able to post... please can anybody help me? I have my whole life on OneNote, and now it seems that it is all gone

Hello, I have a few questions. I have group of people and I need to share my files with them. Is it possible to share for example 80GB from upgraded account with users who has only 7GB accounts?
If not can we all share the same account? In case I'd like to exclude somebody how would that work? Is changing the password enough?
And another question, is there any backup in case somebody deletes some file?

I can login to my Skydrive via internet Browser. However, I cannot sign in via windows desktop app .
Even though I can login skydrive via Internet browser. The page replied that that
" This item might not exist or is no longer available.
This item might have been deleted........ Contact the owner of this item for more information."
I am the owner for this account and i cannot upload any file into skydrive. No matter which button I click inside the skydrive. The above message showed all the time. Can anyone check the account for me?

I've a very similar situation as MaryWellsOn, but this happens on my mobile phone, not on the computer, so I just clear the cache on both, but this doesn't help, any idea how to solve this?
