Hi, I am having a problem with sending mail to a certain hotmail address. Some of my mails have been received but recently they have not been received. I have also received mails from this address, but certain of the mails sent to me have not been received. I have received a mail from the person at the address concerned asking why I have not replied, but when I reply I receive no answer. Please advise what could be the problem.

Thanks
Being able to edit your personal info may not help you.
The time field in my person info says Singapore, but the incoming message time stamps are in GMT, and it doesn't even indicate that it is GMT.

Makes one wonder what the point was of even putting any entry in this field.

Help, my old hotmail emails have disappeared from my inbox. In fact anything before 21/07/13 has been deleted unless it was in a separate folder. I suspect this is as a consequence of the migration to outlook (which I and many others didn't ask for). Strangely (and thankfully) all my sent emails are still in the sent folder ranging back to 2007.

How do I recover these as I need some emails for work and the majority for sentimental value?

I've tried recovering emails from my deleted folder already but this just brought back emails up to the middle of July when I had emails going back years and years.

If there is no way to recover these then this is a massive diappointment on the part of Microsoft. I can't even look to see if you sent me an email about the migration as this has been deleted too.

What a ridiculous situation and a massive disappointment. I appreciate that Microsoft are providing a free service and that server space isn't infinite but there must have been a better way than what has happened as I see a number of posts on here about the same topic meaning a massive amount of people who have put their trust in Microsoft as their email client have been let down and have lost important parts and memories of their lives.

For information, I mostly look at my emails via my mobile phone whilst logging on to a desktop occasionally to clear out and orgnaise previous emails.

I look forward to a response.

I have been unable to sync my Hotmail account with Windows 8, and when I load my Mail inbox from Office 365, it says the following:

"Hotmail is unavailable"

It used to sync automatically and I've never had problems, but It now only updates on outlook.  This is causing a problem for my business as I'm unable to sync my calendar and get up to date emails when I'm out working.

From previous threads on the community, it appears some helpful person has sent a private thread which may provide the clues to this, can anyone help?

PS - I have tried to take a screen shot of the moment it tells me Hotmail is unavailable, but it pops up for 2 seconds and then disappears. Any help gratefully accepted.

Hi,

I need to reset user password for a custom domain migoland.com. Would be great if somebody could enable that feature for the domain in question.

Thank you.

Like many other users, all emails from my inbox dating pre-April 2013 appear to have vanished. There should be some emails dating back 10 years but they are nowhere to be seen. I only discovered this yesterday when I found the oldest email in my Inbox to be dated April 2013. This is pretty much the time Microsoft forced Outlook.com on to users.

I use my Outlook.com account daily.
I categorically have not renamed my account and have therefore not caused this myself.
I have been CAREFULLY clearing out old emails but absolutely have not deleted *everything* prior to April 2013.
I have tried changing the email structure settings of my Outlook.com account as per the instructions given on other complainants threads.

Seems like Microsoft have messed up yet again with this hateful forced Outlook.com conversion. Please restore my missing emails!

Regards,
P
