i am unable to access my hotmail a/c, I keep getting code numbers to enter, but they say they are invalid, chatted with a Microspft agent, they could not help, suggested this site, please help.
My deleted folder was emptied without me requesting it to.  Also email in my Inbox older than 2 weeks were deleted.  I tried but couldn't recover most of those older ones.  How can I prevent this from happening again?
Assuming my primary email is *** Email address is removed for privacy *** and my alias is *** Email address is removed for privacy ***

If I send something from *** Email address is removed for privacy *** when the recipient replies it goes to *** Email address is removed for privacy *** rather than *** Email address is removed for privacy ***

How do I change this?
After changing my primary alias, I am getting the following message when trying to log into my email (outlook.com), "Sorry, there seems to be a problem with Outlook right now", the options are, Try again, or Report to Microsoft.

I also noted that all emails that are now being sent to my old alias, or the new one, are being bounced back to the sender!!!

As has been suggested on the forums, I have already tried, different computers, different browsers, clearing my browser cache.

Help will be appreciated!

EDIT: As mentioned here, my email addresses are, OLD: *** Email address is removed for privacy *** NEW: *** Email address is removed for privacy ***

Bounced mail body:
Final-Recipient: rfc822;*** Email address is removed for privacy ***
Action: failed
Status: 5.1.1
Diagnostic-Code: smtp;550 5.1.1 Mailbox waqas.tariq%outlook.com@7/d655 does not exist.

I have just noticed emails missing and I am in need of help. So far I am detecting two random instances:

1. Email sent to me yesterday is no longer found on Outlook.com - It has been deleted off of server. VERY CONCERNING

2. Email sent to me on Monday is on the Server and on one of my Outlook local profiles (my desktop) but has been deleted off of another Outlook local profile (my laptop).

I have no idea what is going on. I work at Microsoft and would like to escalate this situation. Please advise....

I have had a hotmail address since God was a boy (*** Email address is removed for privacy ***), all my family and friends know it and use it when we exchange email.  I would like to keep my original hotmail address just for family and friends so I opted for an Alias Outlook address (*** Email address is removed for privacy ***) on the hotmail account with its own inbox.

The above works great and I receive Alias Outlook email straight into the specified inbox.

Problem: Say I receive an Alias Outlook addressed email (*** Email address is removed for privacy ***) into my Alias Outlook inbox and I want to reply to it without giving my name and original hotmail address (*** Email address is removed for privacy ***) in the From: address section of the email I'm sending as a reply - how on earth do I do that?

The Alias thing is a great idea but if I can't reply to Alias addressed email using the Alias address - I don't really see the point of it - I might just as well go and open another fresh email account using an Alias name.

If the above is just me being DOH and Alias email can be replied to showing the Alias address and not my personal hotmail address I'd be really grateful to know how.

Thank you all.
