When I accessed my email, it was Hotmail before, all of my emails are gone.

Is it true that if you don't login for 270 days they delete everything?  I don't think it was that long though, I'm pretty sure I logged into it this year at least once.

"After 270 days (about 8 and a half months) without access, a Windows Live Hotmail account becomes inactive. This means all messages stored in the account are deleted and no new mail is accepted. "

Is it possible to get Microsoft to restore my messages?

I received an obscene email from a yahoo account. How do I report this to outlook?
All of my sent emails aren't being saved - so also I have no idea if they have been sent. Some are, some are not. I've done what many people have suggested on this site - going into my Outlook.com accont and making sure that I have selected :Save Messages" - but it is not helping. Can someone please help?

Original title: I need loads of help, hopefully someone can help me

So right now I'm 16 years old, when I created my MSN account I was about 12. I created it for the sole purpose of having Xbox Live, so I never got onto that email account, it was saved on my Xbox, I was good. Since I was 12, I'm going to be honest and all, I probably lied about some of the stuff, and no I wasn't able to put down a phone number because I didn't have one. Anyways, the other day I went to play Xbox and I had to resign in, and that's when I knew I was hacked. They changed my password and my associated emails so I couldn't receive anything. Like I said, I don't know any of the information that I put down because that was about 4 years ago, except for the account's address and original password. So when it asked me to do a survey to see if I was eligible to have access to it or not, I wasn't able to. I tried this method about 7 or 8 times. I asked Outlook on Twitter if there was an email address I could contact to talk to a real person, and they said no. How in the **** are you going to run an email company and not have a support email? Anyways, I just happened to buy a year's supply of Xbox Live last month, so I reaaaaaally don't want to buy another, but however I still want to play Xbox. Not including the fact that I have hundreds of dollars worth of games bought from the arcade on that account. I don't want to lose everything that I've gained over the past 4 years. If someone could help me that would be absolutely fantastic. Have a wonderful day

Hi
I tried to login to my account (had to make another to post this) which is one I've had for ages so haven't had any password problems, but it said it looked like someone else had been trying to access it.
I couldn't have the code sent to my alternate email as it is no longer in use.
As the account in question is mainly used for INCOMING mail, I was unable to us the verification form successfully, even after a few attempts.
Now what do I do????

This is the 2nd time I have posted, the first time has brought me hopelessly in a circle. Can I please get a name and some contact info for the person(s) responsible, and capable of helping me. I do not see why this has to take weeks, through a shoddy forum contact with ever changing administrators. I need control of my account back, but every step ultimately ends in my getting blocked, and the hacker getting a reset code. please help me.
What’s the status of the Hotmail forum?
Hello,

Well, I currently have Outlook Email right now and I would like to add another one. I have followed the instructions to Set up a new Mail Server (MyFreeola)  however every time I add my account information and the POP3 email information it says - There's a problem connecting to the POP3 mail server.

I don't know what's wrong. I have the POP3 and SMTP information of my Mail Server on Freeola but it's not working.

This is the information I have used provided from Freeola.

  1. Load Microsoft Outlook.

  2. From the menu bar at the top of the screen select 'Tools', then 'E-mail Accounts'. In the window that opens, select the 'Add a New E-mail Account' option. Click 'Next'.

  3. For the server type, select POP3. Then click 'Next'.

  4. Enter the name you want to appear on outgoing e-mails from you in the Your Name field. Example: John Smith.

  5. In the 'E-mail Address' field, type in: *** Email address is removed for privacy ***.

  6. In the 'Username' field, type in: *** Email address is removed for privacy ***.

  7. In the 'Password' field, type in: ********

  8. In the 'Incoming Mail Server (POP3)' field, type in: mail.freeola.net.

  9. In the 'Outgoing Mail Server' field, type in: smtp.freeola.net.

  10. Click 'Next', then Finish and you're all set to send e-mail!

I had or have 2 e mail accounts linked to my main account and where I used to access via the main account.

In the past few weeks I have noticed that those links have disappeared and as suchand as I have long forgotten the passwords for those accounts, I cannot access them. How do I get to them please?
