My hotmail account was hacked a week ago on the long weekend and I had it varified so that I could re gain access to it. Microsoft sent me an email saying all I had to do was re set my password and my email was good to go. The only problem is that I cannot
re set my password. The link takes me to an error page that says it is a temporary error and that I need to try again later. This has been going on for a week now. I have tried different links and different ways to get to the re set password page and they
all direct me to the same error. I have tried the link off of my laptop computer, my phone, my home computer, different browsers, etc. Is there another way I can re set my password to re gian access to my account?? I need to use this email address it is important
and I have been using it for a long time now. It is my primary email account and I am missing important information by not being able to access it. What can I do?
I provide the code I received initially and if it is accepted (and it isn't always) then am only able to get to my account info page. I CANNOT get to my messages. Equally each account is the reference for the other in terms of receiving an access code.
I have also provided a non MS account for those codes. Regardles of how I receive the code(s) I cannot get to my mail. I do NOT want this hassle - the system was fine before - login (user-name) and password. Why this mess of codes and so on. And how do I get
to fully access my two accounts again - the in-boxes etc.?
When I have had fresh codes sent I still end up on the account info page only!
As it stands I cannot access either of my two accounts and this is going to present some serious issues very shortly. Whoevever dreamed up this latest process seriously needs to re-address it and ensure that the sytems works properly - when a code is provided.
I do not wish to use codes - other than my until now standard login path.
Notifying me when I get an answer here is of course not a working proposition; as I cannot access any of my hotmail accounts messages!!!!

My name is Kamal Gopinath and I have an account with hotmail which is "*** Email address is removed for privacy ***".
My issue is that while I tried logging in to my account, mistakenly I entered a wrong password more than 3 times and because of this my account got blocked.
As I no longer have access to your alternate e-mail address and I have no idea about the information used when I set up the account, or last updated information as I created this account more than 7 years back and was not using this account for a long time.
But I know my password and would like to login again as I have more than 600 contacts which was saved in the "People" folder of my account from my windows phone.
When I tried to login with existing username and password; I am receiving the message, “It looks like someone else might be using your account".
Is there anyway that I can login with my existing password and get my details please?
Will I be able to login with my existing username and password, If I wait for few days without logging in?
Please Note that I have already logged in my complaint, 4 days back and no one responded as of today!

I am experiencing extremely slow sync speeds.
Currently my documents folder is what I sync and it contains 333 MB of data, the latest sync of 26,4 MB has been running for a good two days.
That said I have a pretty decent connection 100Mbps (download) and 10Mbps (upload).
I can upload / download 26,4MB of data in seconds but for some reason SkyDrive cant.
I decided to use SkyDrive because it has nice integration between different machines and you can login from anywhere, but with the transferspeeds SkyDrive supports, I cannot trust that a file I edited at home is available elsewhere even after several days.
How do you set SkyDrive to not slow-boat-throttle sync?
Hi, I think I have the most recent update for Skydrive for Mac but it's not regularly uploading files from my mac to Skydrive. The files will get uploaded but usually in a couple of days. I don't have the same problem when I sync files from my PC--is there a recent update I should have? Or an inherent bug that requires another update for Macs?

when i want to recover my account by email, it shows me my only live account in the dropbox that is blocked with this error!!! but when i tried to reset my password,
microsoft show me that the email for reseting the password sents to two email accounts, first one is my only live account and second one is my gmail account!! I changed my password with the link in my gmail account but when i wanted to login it shows
the same error!!!
i tried verifying my account by submitting the form 5 times now, but microsoft keep telling
"Unfortunately, we were unable to verify your ownership of this account using the information you provided."
