I emailed a document to myself and then opened the email. When given the option of 'editting ______' or downloading it. I downloaded it and then made several changes and saved it. I now cannot find it anywhere. If I go into the original email obviously it has the original document saved in active view, there is nothing in Skydrive, I can't find anything saved on the computer itself. I was thinking that Active view was cloudbased and I saved it to there but obvioulsy not. Can anyone tell me where I may have saved it????
I have had persistent problems with my Live ID and getting Skydrive to work. I've had absolutely no support for it for the last year and since 8.1 it's intolerable. I need to move EVERYTHING to another account so I can use Skydrive again.
This involves moving over: Windows store purchases, Student Office 365 subscription, Switching devices main user to the other account (phone, surface tablet, PC), Email, Skype, Skydrive
I'm working on moving email, devices and Skydrive (should be alright just moving files and setting up email forwarding) BUT can't do the rest myself. Support needed - Ideally I'd like to actually talk to someone since, ya know, kinda only need to move because Microsoft screwed up firstly on the skydrive and secondly on giving me no useful support.
I could not access OUTlook whilst onboard ship and free wifi abroad using IE. Eventually I searched Hotmail this was fine.
I used an old YAHOO account for most of the time tho worked perfectly all of the time everywhere.
What is the point of a worldwide account (Outlook) if it doesn't access worldwide.
If it wasn't for the the huge amounts of rubbish spam I'd go back to YAHOO forth with.
First, be aware you are dealing with someone who is lacking computer literacy.
I upgraded to Windows 8.1.
I use IE 11.
I have a Hotmail email address that I access at https://blu176.mail.live.com/default.aspx?id=64855
When I click on a message in my inbox, nothing happens.
When I right-click and select "forward", I can see the message and forward it successfully.
I looked at other questions similar to this and according to the advice given, I deleted temporary internet files. Then I looked at my add-ons, but didn't turn anything off because I don't know what I am doing. There weren't many: Adobe PDF Link Helper, Shockwave Flash Object, Bing, Email with Windows Live, Map with Bing, and Translate with Bing.
Help, please.
Phyllis
I want to know the current storage size of email account holder from domain live email services.
I have one user account holder who can't able to receive message from anybody. The error from a person who sent email is "Delivery Status Notification (Failure)". Whenever I encounter this problem. I ask the email account holder to delete some messages from his/her mailbox.
HI
I have been trying to make my pc trusted to sync my apps but while trying it says that I have to enter a code that I am supposed to receive on my inbox. I have tried many times and I have not received anything while it says in the page that is sending.
As soon as I log into my Outlook account, I get a banner that says, "there is a problem with your Outlook account."
I can read my e-mail; however, I cannot delete and/or send.
I tried a reboot but the same thing happens...
