Resetting password issue

I need to reset my farthers password as the account has been hacked.

 

The reset link to an email does not work as the email address has been closed. Therefore I chose to fill in the indenification form, it says hotmail will contact me usually within 24 hours.

 

I have done this step twice now and it has been over a week with no reply.

 

How can I get in touch with Hotmail support?

Problem importing calendar into outlook.com problem URL

I'm trying to import a calender withe the belgian holidays but when I subscribe with the url given http://windows.microsoft.com/nl-be/windows/outlook/calendar-holiday-other i get the following error There's a problem with the calendar URL that you entered. Please make sure you've entered it correctly and try again. could someone help me please

Hotmail emails keep auto deleting since change to Outlook

Hi,

I know this has been posted about by many people but in all the discussions I have trawled through to find an answer to my problem, I have only found rubbish advice from moderators and Microsoft advisors. Hence why I am posting again.

When my email account was changed to Outlook, I lost all my old emails. Microsoft kindly deleted them all for me and left only those that were about a month old. So I recovered all I could.

Now my old emails, that I want to keep in my inbox, as I did before, delete themselves periodically and leave me with only the past month's. There are no funny rules on my account or odd junk email filters. It just keeps deleting the emails and I cannot find a way to stop it. I do not want to have to keep recovering my old emails as this is not practical and I will lose some along the way. This never happened before the move to outlook but now is a serious problem for me and many others.

There must be an answer but all I find from looking on the forums is a load of guff from "experts" who are not fixing this problem. Neither has there been any good answer as to why and how this has happened.

Please can somebody help as I am at the end of my tether with it.

got the following message, but don't ever sync my hotmail address to a mobile device... what is going on?

It will not let me sign in, painful...

Mistake deleted the account. The requested account name is already in use or was used in the past and has not been through the required waiting period to re-use.

Hi,

I deleted the account *** Email address is removed for privacy *** by mistake. Please let me know how exactly can I readd the account as its been 3 days and I have been trying again and again getting the following error message. "The requested account name is already in use or was used in the past and has not been through the required waiting period to re-use."

It is 5:15 EST and I can not access or receive email to my mobile phone. When are you going to fix this? Please send out some information but not via email since we can’t open them!

As above.  It's 8-15-13 @ 5:15am.   I am unable to open old emails on my mobile phone or receive any emails since this supposedly came up.  There is an obvious large problem so bite the bullet and let us all know who pay for your service what is going on pleeeeeeeeeaaaaasssssseeee!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Tem 2 dias que não posso entrar no meu e-mail para ler, e quando entro não é possível abrir e-mail e enviar. Vem msg de problemas com Outlook que em breve será restabelecido , estamos no 2 dia e continua a mesma coisa.

An email was sent numerous times without my knowledge

An email that I sent was kept into my outgoing messages file and was sent numerous ( > 40 ) times which resulted in an outrageous bill due to excess usage of my data plan. I have no responsibility for this since  I just pressed the sent button. Is there a way I can get compensated for this hotmail's mistake?

When I try to send an email to one of my email addresses I host with Hostgator, in a few hours I will get a message from postmaster​@mail.hotma​il.com saying 
THIS IS A WARNING MESSAGE ONLY.
YOU DO NOT NEED TO RESEND YOUR MESSAGE.
Delivery to the following recipients has been delayed.
*** Email address is removed for privacy ***

Sometime later - generally a 48-72 hours later, I get one or two more emails, both saying 
Unable to deliver message to the following recipients, due to being unable to connect successfully to the destination mail server
*** Email address is removed for privacy ***

This happens from any Hotmail address to the email hosted by Hostgator.   I have verified the email addresses exist and have checked with hostgator that their are no filters. I am able to send from my Hostgator domain email to Hotmail fine all other mail to the Hostgator email works fine.


Please help.
