I tried googling how to do it and followed the steps, but it stops me after i put in my email and password.
Can anyone give me step-by-step instructions on how to get outlook to retrieve my hotmail inboxes, please?

I renamed my account from @Hotmail.com to @outlook.com around mid November 2012. There was a problem accessing my account (emails would not show) and I reported that on another thread. That issue has now been resolved and I can now access my account. However, all my old emails have been deleted. There were many important emails and they are all gone. I understand there is no timeframe to fix this but I have been waiting for a solution for 3/4 of a year. What do you expect me to do with all the lost email? That old email address account is probably going to expire now since I can't access it, which means no hope of recovering my emails. Is this "no timeframe and please wait patiently" tactic meant to make us wait till the email accounts expire and you tell us there's no way of recovering them?
ok, so heres what happened, i was messing around with my old email and changed my address name..but my new address name NEVER worked when i sent mail from other mail to it. and then once i logged out and i then i tried to log in again with my new email
name and old email name but it didnt work..so i panicked and made a new account BUT i want to move all contacts from old email to new one but i dont know how!!! please help. iv'e looked at trueswitch but it said something like it doesnt work anymore or its
not doing it anymore..please help . i have an unbelievable list of contacts i need for my new email . HELP!!!!!!!!!!!! this is URGENT
I've worked with online chat in the area. They "took over" my computer and tried to look over this problem. My inbox says that I have emails. I can see some of them in the list. When I've read all in the list, the Inbox still says there are 44 or 38
or however many emails to read, but I am unable to see them. This has been going on for several months. I am missing important emails that I need to be able to access. Thank you

I have a hotmail account that I have had for many years. I got an iPhone 4 1/3/2012. I have accessed my hotmail account for 19 months with no problem. Yesterday morning (8/15/2013) when I checked my hotmail email on my iPhone, it only had my emails
with the most recent one being the day I got the phone (1/3/2012). On my computer, my hotmail account is fine, updating as emails come in. But on my iPhone, it is stuck at 1/3/2012 and is not updating/syncing at all. I get an error message saying "cannot
get mail. Connection to server has failed." I have tried deleting the hotmail account off my phone and then adding it, but it goes right back to being stuck at 1/3/2012. My other email account (gmail) seems to be working fine. I'm not sure what to do.

I've been trying to access one of my hotmail accounts but it's saying my password isn't correct. I haven't changed the password although the account has been inactive since linking accounts was discontinued... I'm concerned the account might have been hacked...
I have tried the 'account recovery' request twice but I can't remember all the security questions that I set ages ago or recall any folders I created as I rarely access this account. However, I do need to get to it though and would really appreciate some personal assistance!!

I have an Hotmail.com e-mail that has been my main for years. Today i told myself I should make the one i use for futur as primary mail instead.
Once I made the change. I cannot login into mail account. I can login to the "account" where i can see skydrive, calendar. But E-mail and people are not available at all.
What Can I do to get access back to my mails?
