I have a default windows live mail e-mail account and I have attempted several times to set up a second e-mail address. Every time I do so I have been able to create the address with its own password, and send outgoing mail, however I am unable to receive
incoming mail as I get a pop up window displaying the following message:
Unable to send or receive messages for the ********* account. An incorrect password was entered. The next time you send or receive messages, you'll be asked to enter your user name and password for this account.
Server Error: 0x800CCC90
Server Response: -ERR Authentication failed.
Server: ************
Windows Live Mail Error ID: 0x800CCC92
Protocol: POP3
Port: 110
Secure(SSL): No
I have tried clearing the password box and retyping the password, but the box just reappears asking form my details again. Why won't it recognise the password and how can I resolve this issue?
