All of the sudden today when trying to send a email from my account I was temporarily blocked with the message "We noticed unusual activity in your hotmail account. I tried to go to the link in there to verify my account and still am blocked. I am out
of work and this is the email address that I rely on. I need help immediately.

I face this common issue. You need to prove ownership of this domain by creating a DNS record. Use the settings below.
All the settings in the domain registrar are perfect. I triple checked them. But still domain approvals are not happening from Outlook side.
Kindly find the details as below:
- DNS record type: MX
- Host: babyflocks.com
- MX server: as given by outlook.com
- TTL: 3600 or 1 hour
- Priority: 10 (or High priority)
I have set the MX record exactly as given.
I m on deadlines. So please solve this issue as early as possible.
or let me know if anything has to be done form my side.
One possible cause can be, I have created two accounts in outlook.com for registering into domain.live.com for this domain.
So there might be conflicts happening as there are chances of two admin accounts created for this.

All this week I have not been able to open my e-mail. There are times I can open one e-mail and not others. I also have tried to e-mail someone and that is not working. I have tried different access that microsoft has suggested by getting a code. I

Here is an email I received from an admin assistant at my place of employment. Some names have been changed to protect the innocent.
"Jimbo sent an email to both Sally and I. Because Sally opened it first, it appears in my email as if I have already opened it and read it as well. So I miss it altogether. This happens a lot, and I am missing important stuff."
I have not been able to actually see this first hand, but only get word of it long after the fact. As I look over her Outlook settings I see the Out of Box default settings applied, with the exception of cached exchange mode being disabled.

My old hotmail account (linked to this one) has been blocked. I don't believe that there is a hacker in my account. I used to use the linked hotmail accounts so it has been a while since I've had to log into my account using the password, and I couldn't
remember it yesterday and got locked out.
I've tried to do the questionnaire again but I can't provide sufficient information. The main reason for this is that I haven't sent an email from this account for many years and so I can't provide information on recent contact addresses / email subjects.
I set the account up in around 1998 and used it mainly up until 2002, since then it has been pretty dormant except for mailing lists. I have kept the account open because it has old emails in it that I'd like to keep. I can provide details about the emails
I sent in the past - the locations and the people I sent them to? I can also provide information on the types of mailing newsletters I get sent to the email address, if that can authenticate my identity.
