I recently bought a windows 8 and tried to use the skype installed in there. I was not able to open it no matter how i tried as they keep prompting me to verify my microsoft account. And there is a click here to send the email. I check everything and it

They direct me to this page with the following words instead.

What fields in Outlook.com contacts are indexed?? It seems to my that most fields are not indexed which is kind of a deal breaker for me. For example if the note field was indexed a person could find a certain record simply by a name that was remembered
in the note field. This is possible on almost quality PIMS such as outlook etc. It almost seems to me this outlook.com contacts program is just not finished yet.
When I search my emails the ones I received today (Aug.22 2013) don't show up in the results. Anyone know if there's a problem here?
I hit Achieve on a document and it went away. It is not in any folders I created so where did it go?

I have been using my Outlook.com account for a while now, and I have only just noticed that not all my email, both incoming and sent items are staying in my account.
For instance, I only have 1 weeks worth of email in both my inbox and my Sent Items.
I would have thought that all email would have remained in the account. I have verified that all settings, for instance the "Save all sent messages in Sent Items Folder" is selected.
I do also use the Mail app on my Surface RT, as well as Outlook on my Desktop and laptop, but to the best of my knowledge, all settings to leave mail on the server has been set.
Can you think of a reason why I am losing my email?

Notice: My account is no longer being used. I have notified Microsoft I no longer agree with their terms of agreements and also do not agree with their privacy statement nor agree with their use of personal data. I can't
simply delete the account due to "server errors". The specific error is: "Our server is having a problem. We're working to fix it as soon as we can, so try again in a few minutes" Well over two months is more than a "few minutes" Due to

does not agree to my terms then allow me to delete my account, non deletion is to be considered acceptance of my terms.
As specifically outlined; non deletion of my account is to be considered acceptance of these terms and agreement. Any and all lawsuits are agreed to be paid by Microsoft in full, subject to their continued refusal to allow deletion of my account.
This shall remain in effect until deletion of this account along with erasure of all private and personal data (due to the non agreement of their terms all data storage and its use are no longer subject to previous condition)
I just want to delete the account. As a systems administrator I think not having a a help desk to post a trouble ticket as to the
non-functionality of their product and then help to the user with their issues is Lame. Not as lame as the usual reply of, "just don't log-in and use it and it will eventually expire and be deleted in a year or three" which is not an acceptable answer,
nor the hallmarks of a professional organization.
My photos have both geotags and location information (i.e. city, county, state, etc.) stored in EXIF on the files.
When files are imported, this descriptive information generally comes across and is stored in the 'geotag' fields in WPG. So far so good.
However it seems that over time, WPG takes it upon itself to re-interpret the EXIF geotags for some (but not all) photos and to change the descriptive details appearing in WPG to something different to what is held in EXIF. This would be fine, except that it does not appear to do so in a consistent way. One would expect it to follow consistent ISO standards for the hierarchy of administrative and location levels within each jurisdiction, i.e. 'country', 'state/province', 'county', 'city', 'location', etc. when mapping geotags to location details.
The apparently random incidence of this means that photos are not then grouped together correctly when using the 'Geotag' view.
Where, exactly, does WPG get its location mapping data from, and what if any standards does this conform to? And is there any way to inhibit it from amending these details unbidden?
I rec'd an Email supposedly from "The Email Team" advising that I have exceeded my inbox limit and that I need to reconfirm my information, My login name, and my password. Is this a real request or a scam?
