Can’t get into email – keep getting a message that I need a code.

Hi,  when I open hotmail (well, now it's outlook), I keep getting a message that I had 7 days to request a code, then 6 and so on.  They emailed me a code and then left 2 different ones on my phone.  I am not sure this is on the level and think it's hackers.  However, now I can't open my email at all.  It keeps saying I need a code.  What can I do??  I actually put the code in that they emailed me but it says it's wrong.      Now they sent me another one.  Do I have to enter this code every time I sign into hotmail (outlook)?????  I thought it was spam or hackers but since it somes up when I click on hotmil, I'm assuming it's for real.

I have been trying for a couple of weeks to close out a hotmail account. 

 

I have followed the process and get the following message...."We cant show you that page.  Our sever is having a problem.  We're working to fix it as soon as we can.  So try back in a few minutes."

I need to reset many skydrive accounts for school system.

I'm an IT person at a school system. We have multiple high school students that have forgot passwords or can't login to their skydrive. Can you reset their passwords to one password that is the same. Not sure if the students put in a cell phone number. It could have been the land line to the school that they put in.

Since using my account on holiday i have been locked out.my 
daughter has filled in the questionnaire in several times to be told that the information provided was not sufficient enough.  I have had this email for a few years now and have had no problems with it. I run my business through my hotmail and am losing money through this problem, I also use the account for personal things. Please help as I have been locked out for a week now and have tried everything.  The account is karen *** Email address is removed for privacy ***

problem with sending emails via a send and receive account

Hi,

 

I have added my work email account as a send and receive account to my outlook.com account.

 

I am receiving emails successfully, and was previously able to send emails from my work address via my outlook.com account.

 

However, when I now try to send emails via outlook.com, I receive a Mail Delivery Status Notification (Failure) email from *** Email address is removed for privacy ***. I have checked the incoming server settings and these are correct. I have phoned my work email provider (the phone co-op) who say the problem is with hotmail, and is not something they can do anything about. Any ideas much appreciated! Thanks

Family Safety Activity not recorded

I purchased two Dell laptops for my twin boys. I set both of them up on Family Safety at the same time. However, activity is only being recorded on ONE laptop. They are both set up exactly the same. Both accounts have "activity reporting" enabled, however, the Family Safety portal is only reporting one of them. I've tried the trouble shooting in previous posts (checking for corrupted files, etc), but nothing is helping. I'm at a complete loss b/c both accounts are set up exactly the same on both computers. I'm getting very frustrated b/c I want to monitor BOTH laptops. Please assist--I'm at my wit's end.

Update: I just checked my other son's laptop (whose activity is being recorded in Family Safety) and it shows activity 8/19, 8/20 and today....but it shows NO activity yesterday, 8/21, and he was online for several hours doing online homework. 

Why is Family Safety only recording SOME family members on SOME days? It seems like there are a lot of bugs to this. At this point, how much confidence can we put into this when it's so unreliable?

I had my main hotmail account for over 15 years now. I wanted to create a second hotmail account to manage incoming emails from my neighborhood and keep them separated from my personal emails. I thought the alias was the way to go, but hotmail ended renaming my username to my new neighborhhod alias, and my old hotmail account is the alias now. I had very strict junk mail settings for my old hotmail but now they don't apply so I keep getting all the ****, f***book and similars in my inbox, while the important stuff gets send to the junkmail! It's a BIG mess! I just want to keep both accounts but independent from each other. I don't want to delete either one, just need to have separate inboxes with their own junkmail and privacy settings. How can I do this without messing up??? Please help!
