Hello!

I have access to my supervisor's calendar through my Outlook and will often book her meetings from directly within her calendar.  Although both she and I are in the EST timezone, these meetings will (at least sometimes) come up listed in a different timezone (GMT).

For example, as in the picture below, I booked a meeting in her calendar for 12:00 noon EST.  However, in the notification she receives about this booking, it lists the time as 11:00 GMT.

This only happens when I book meetings on her behalf through my computer. (So, I don't think the issue is that her Outlook is set to the wrong timezone.)

Does anyone know why this is happening and how we can fix it?

Thanks very much!!
Amy

Hello, I have been prompt to enter a security code within a few days or my account will be locked. While I had click on recieving the code via my mobile phone but I have no text message from Microsoft with the code.

While I had email my issue to customer support but it has been more than 24 hours and I have recieved no new information about the code (I even typed a new message in that link provided in that message confirmantion after I send it).

When will I recieved anything about the code soon? As I type this, I have 4 days left (the account will be locked at the end of the week if I don't get the code soon).

I believe my mobile phone number on my account is correct (as seen on my profile page) as the last two digits match up but the amount of * look less on that secruity info page (less then 11, the amount of digits for a mobile phone number). Is that normal?

Before you asked, I have clicked on the alternative on calling on that number instead of text but I got no call aswell.
Within outlook itself it says it is disconnected from the server, when I try and access outlook through chrome and IE I can sign in but I cannot access emails at all, the page I go to says please wait while we update your inbox and despite trying to find a way to fix this issue for about 5 hours I still cannot access my inbox.  This is specific to my existing account, I have tried to create other outlook accounts as well as have support remote access my computer, each attempt has been able to access the corrisponding account and get to the inbox.  I was advised to change accounts but I specifically wanted to use outlook as part of a unified system using my windows live ID there is no support for changing everything to a new account and I especially don't want to lose my xbox account either.  Is there a way that this issue can be resolved without having to use a different account?

Today I received two emails with the subject line "Server Upgrade".

I suspect that this is a scam, but considering the changes that have been happening with Hotmail/Oultook then I want to be sure. If it is then I want to also alert everyone. Obviously I haven't clicked on the embedded link provided in the email. The general content of the email is:

Windows Live Mail went offline without me asking it to and now won't go back online.  Any suggestions?

Using my laptop, I am able to open emails in one of our hotmail accounts, but not in another hotmail account.  Any suggestions?
