Thanks!

I use hotmail as an anonymous email to avoid getting spammed on my work/personal email.

Now, though they want me to provide mobile number for this "security" thing - and to my horror they had my mobile in the drop-down list.

I don't trust these organisations, and I am a bit worried about how they got my mobile number. No wonder I get spam texts and calls now.

I am going to migrate to mail.com.

If I set up a forwarding rule in hotmail to help me migrate to mail.com, will it eventually expire - do I need to keep coming back to hotmail to keep it alive?

I have shared a few of my own skydrive folders with my wife. When she clicks on the links in the original emails telling her of a new shared folder she is able to open my shared folders without issue.  IF she goes to her skydrive page and clicks on "Shared" she get's the following:

Sorry, something went wrong.

Please try again or refresh the page.

Needless to say trying again or refreshing the page does not help.  This happens on multiple machines.  My wife has also shared some of her folders with me in Skydrive and when I go to my "Shared" page, I can access those folders without issue.  We have the workaround of using the links originally sent in the original email lettering her know I shared a file with her, but this is far from ideal.

What can be done to resolve this?

When using the guide to export/import mailo-files, only the first mail in a given folder is copied. Why?,  and how to enable all files i a given folder/subfolder to be copied in one go?

I recently upgraded to Windows 8.1 from a Windows 8 OEM installation.

Before doing this, I had installed and configured SkyDrive successfully to run on my secondary drive (D, versus C which contains the OS).
After upgrading, my online drive is empty.
I still have a folder on my secondary drive titled SkyDrive with all my stuff in it.
After searching around online and in the PC settings, I found an article by Microsoft Support explaining the new version of SkyDrive does not support a root directory different from default.

Not really a problem as I can easily accomodate to this. I found a new folder: C:\Users\Joachim\SkyDrive, logically the newly created directory for SkyDrive files. I move my stuff in, but nothing happens. No synchronisation, yet I'm connected to the Internet, and SkyDrive is set to sync everything.

I think SkyDrive is still set to operate out of D:\SkyDrive back from 8.0, and it's conflicting because of this. Using the application lists my files in this directory as well.

I uninstalled SkyDrive from the control panel (doesn't have much effect, as far as I can understand, SkyDrive is soldered in Windows now), switched to a local account, deleted the folder D:\SkyDrive and rebooted.

Relinked the PC to my Microsoft Account, rebooted again, and SkyDrive created the directory D:\SkyDrive once again. But nothing is synchronising.
Something to note as well, I can't connect to my PC under "PCs" in the skydrive.live.com either.

Thanks
Hi,

I am using Windows Live Domains for a while now. Yesterday, I upgraded my server from Debian 6 to Debian 7.
With the system, OpenSSL got updated from 0.9.8o to 1.0.1e. Since 1.0.0, they disabled SSLv2 because of a security leak.

Anyway, SSLv3 is still available and should work. However, I am unable to connect to smtp.live.com with SSLv3:

$ openssl s_client -connect smtp.live.com:587 -ssl2
unknown option -ssl2
usage: s_client args

$ openssl s_client -connect smtp.live.com:587 -ssl3
CONNECTED(0000000A)

It looks like SSLv3 is not available on smtp.live.com, but as SSLv2 has been disabled, I'm totally unable to connect to SMTP...
Because of this, all my services stopped sending mails, including GitLab, Redmine and Jenkins :(

Is there any way to send mails using plain authentication, or to enable SSLv3 on servers?

Regards,
Mikael.
