Question about Outlook Express

When I am logged into my account there is no photo associated with my name. When I send out an email a strangers picture gets posted along side my name. Though I do not know this man I did find him on Facebook and he does have the same name as me. How can I delete him from my Hotmail account?

Iv been trying for days to sign into a email but it keeps rejecting my password

I had several years of messages in my inbox that are now no longer there. Only the messages from the past few months.

I have xp and my computer keeps telling me Irtl120bpl I just want to re-install it has been happening for a while. I did not know that was the reason my computer was running slow.

Can I filter all messages that have an embedded link?  I want them going to my junk folder, since my exclusive filter isn't working....

I can log in to my live account and I can send emails. However, I can not receive emails.

The problems started when I got a new ultrabook and started playing with Windows 8 apps, aliases, features etc.

I received this email:

I have no idea what this email means. The new address that is listed is actually my school/work email address that I have had for a couple years now.
Not sure what is going on there? I was playing with the aliases options when this email was sent, however. This school/work address is technically a gmail account.

Moreover, I received this notification a day or two ago when I was on my live account:

"Your messages are in your POP folder! Some other program is set to download and delete your messages from Outlook. Just in case this was an accident, we've put them in a special POP folder. Not an accident? Change settings."

Okay, but there are no messages in my POP folder.

I use my live account for absolutely everything. Is there anyway that it can be fixed so that it operates like it used to?! Where I can just send/receive emails!?
