File mis-match in SkyDrive

Hi,

 

I have the SkyDrive application installed on three PC's (running Win7), but the list of files are not the same! Two of the computers agree, and with the files in the "cloud" while the third is missing some files and folders. What can I do to get them all synced?

Hi there,

I'm hoping someone from MS can assist me on this as I am having great difficulty getting a resolution. I am the IT admin for an accounting firm, we run Exchange 2003 on premise here and for years have had no mail flow issues. We arent on any blacklists etc Our IP is 83.70.156.37

A few weeks ago outlook.com/hotmail.com/live.com email accounts started bouncing mail from our exchange server. It turns out one user had tried to send a mass mail about the recent budget in Ireland to approx 500 recipients, our clients, some of whom have hotmail, live and outlook.com email addresses. I know she shouldn't have done this and sue our third party mailchimp subscription instead, it was however a once off. I thought after a week or two the restriction would be lifted but not so.

Microsoft flagged this I have discovered as name space mining. 3 weeks have passed now and we are still unable to send email to our clients using hotmail addresses. this is now a serious issue for our business and for our clients. The income tax deadline in Ireland is looming and email correspondence to clients is crucial. Clients are annoyed also as they don't understand why hotmail wont allow them receive mail from their accountants.

how can I get this block lifted? We arent spamming anyone, our mail server is fully patched and secure,, running Symantec Mail Security for Microsoft Exchange. No other ISP or mail recipient is blocking any mail from us except MS. On dnsstuff.com we arent listed on any blacklists.

I have completed this support form multiple times now but I just get the same response every time telling me we are blocked for namespace mining.

It seems we are banished indefinitely by MS and its a big issue for our business now as it is dragging on and on. Ok, a user sent one mail she shouldnt have to a large group of recipients, but it seems we are being punished an inordinate amount for this. I need to find a way to get this block lifted urgently please.

Contacts Birthdays’s

Hello,

I imported all my Gmail contacts to Outlook. I notice when I go into Outlook calendar, none of the birthday's have been added. I thought that if you have a birthday associated to the contact it automatically gets added to the calendar?

If I add the birthday manually, that creates a mess on my iPhone 5C running IOS 7. The contacts birthday are in there twice. Thanks in advance for your help. ;-)

Hi.

I'm trying to set up Outlook to act as mail server for my domain. The issue I'm having is with the MX record settings. The settings I'm asked to put in won't work with my registar.

They are asking me to use 

  • DNS record type: MX
  • Host: mydomain.com
  • MX server: c869f59ea7f2e8459f3dacee39b0ad.pamx1.hotmail.com
  • TTL: 3600 or 1 hour
  • Priority: 10 (or High priority)

The issue I have is that my registar won't let me set the TTL as 3600 it says it has to be 14400 and when I try to set the host to my domain it reverts to @.

So I can't configure the settings in outlook.

Hello 'group'

 

I have not been able to sign into my Outlook.com account since October as I am constantly get the error message that I am signed into Office365, when I am not.

 

I began a thread but Microsoft Support do not know how to respond to this technical query. If there is anyone out there who has solved this same issue, I would be glad to hear from you.

Opening folders

I have un into a major problem. I have access to my Hotmail account but once I am signed in and access is granted I am unable to open any of the new messages that are in the inbox and also unable to open any other folders. Has anyone else come across this problem and if so what can I do to correct it.

Lost all of mails in inbox

Dear Sir;

I am a customer of Hotmail for long time.  Today I recognized that my hotmail was changed to be outlook automatically.  
I found that all of my mails disappear from my inbox.   
Could you please suggest me how to restore all of my mails?
