I have been using the stock email app on my phone (Samsung Galaxy Nexus with Android 4.2.2) to access one of my Hotmail accounts for almost a year now and I never had any problems. Suddenly about two or three weeks ago it stopped working, meaning that I could not send or receive e-mails. My old e-mails were still viewable, but it was useless to me when I could not reply, create a new e-mail, or receive any new e-mails.
My gmail account, which I set up on the same stock email app continues to work flawlessly, so it seems like the problem is not with the app. I tried downloading the "Outlook.com" app and I was able to successfully connect to my e-mail account with that; but I really don't like the format of that app. I went back to my "stock" email app and removed the Hotmail account and tried to add it back again, but it gets stuck at the last part where it says "Waiting for Sync: Your email will appear soon" and the spinning icon just spins endlessly with no e-mails ever showing up.
I know I am putting in my correct username and password because I can log in to my Hotmail account using the web browser.
My strong suspicion is that you guys (Microsoft) changed something on your end that broke it. Can you fix it?
This happens frequently where SkyDrive will get stuck uploading. It will just not want to upload and make no progress, or it will start creating huge amounts of data upload (pictured below). I've tried restarting the application and restarting the computer, but there doesn't seem to be any reliable way of fixing it. I have windows 8 (up to date) and this applies to the desktop version of SkyDrive.
Can someone please help me with the 5 piece attachment restriction in outlook.com?
I would like to send more attachments sometimes, and I also have a trouble with replies sometimes because of this rule. :)
i changed the location multiple times but didnt help
My problem is with using Firefox and Vista. When I copy and paste a website in an email, the recipient gets the address, but it is not clickable (when they click on it nothing happens). I know they could copy and paste it, but many folks I send emails to don't know how to do that. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
