I hope someone can help with this...  I have Outlook.com set up to pull in my emails from Hotmail.com.  Now I'm setting up a homepage on CenturyLink.com and trying to set it up to pull in my emails from Outlook.com.  CenturyLink asks for "email provider" which I guess would be Outlook.com, then asks for "Webmail URL" which I assumed was the link in my address bar when I go to Outlook.com, then asks for "Hostname" and indicates that it should be a POP3, so I put in POP3.outlook.com
When I try to sign in to the email it tells me I have entered an invalid mail server address.  Not sure what that means.  Any suggestions?
Thanks,
Rick
when I go to sign in other detail now shows next to my email address. They were typed in in error. Hoe do I delete the wrong [two] lines?

My emails wasn't receiving emails from 3:30 to about 7:40,then all of a sudden if started receiving emails, but only ones from 7:40 on. Will I get those emails that were sent to me during that time period.
Hi,

I need to close my outlook account as it has been hacked. I have tried changing my password numerous times, yet spam is still being sent out to my contacts. I need to close this account asap, but it will not let me. When I click "close account" it takes me to a "deactivate account" page, which first requires "close billing account" which leads me no where. I am extremely frustrated this is so complicated.

Please help me close this account ASAP.

Thank you,
AshO33

I hit a shortcut key, by accident, that made my entire email font size shrink to a nearly microscopic font, and I cannot figure out how to enlarge it again. When I get out of my actual email, font size returns to normal. It's only my inbox and main page. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks...

I have Skydrive and I am trying to change my credit card details (as I had to cancel the old one)  so I can pay for another years storage.  However when I click on the manage storage, the language changes to Chinese. I am presuming it does this because I live in Hong Kong, but I don't read Chinese so I can't work out how to change my credit card details. Even my Chinese friends can't see where you can do this.

Why would Microsoft presume that everyone who lives in a certain country (based on the IP address) all speak the native language of that country and automatically change the language for payment (this is the only page that changes). It doesn't help changing browser or any of the other tricks the support people mention in other threads.

Please tell me how I can change the language. This is obviously a MS issue in how you have set up the system and it needs to be changed to just have the one language used throughout your Skydrive system.

I am operating Outlook.com out of Internet Explorer 10, under Windows 7.

The problem disappears if I switch to another User on the same laptop.

I have cleared all the browsing history, checked that I am using the latest versions of Internet Explorer and Silverlight.

Nevertheless, while I still receive emails from my own User site, I am unable to reply, forward or create any new messages.

I'm trying to simplify an awkward email situation I've gotten into.

I have a Hotmail account that has an @earthlink.net name, which receives email from my earthlink account. It has several folders with saved messages.

I want to eliminate earthlink and have my emails sent directly to another Hotmail account. But I would like to move or copy the folders from the first account into the second account. Can this be done, and if so, how? Thanks very much.

I currently use outlook 2010 calendar for my small business office scheduling needs. I have an IMAP account. We have three computers that our office assistants use to schedule appointments. The problem that we have come across is that if appointments are put in the calender in one computer, they are not shown in the calendars of the other two computers.

Before we had the third office assistant, we used a third party program called easy2sync that was able to sync information from one computer to the other in a uni-directional manner. This is not practical now that we have the third computer and I would like to know if Outlook has a built in sync mechanism to sync calendars across multiple computers. I heard about a microsoft exchange account. Would this solve my problem and if so how?
