Spellcheck/auto correct was working fine in Hotmail/Outlook until this morning.   It is NO longer enabled.   Anyone else having the same problem?  Live support and Phone support is NOT available for this problem.  Microsoft can't help.  Funny.   Can anyone else help?

My Hot mail acct has been hacked. I am asked for a password to access it but I do not want to do that for fear that the information in my account will be used improperly. I cannot access my mail nor my contacts and their addresses. I was given a number to call 855 887 4669 where I talked to 'Mary'. She said for $ 189 she would reopen my hot mail account and fix the hacking problem. Then I called them back and talked to Shane, employee id  # AF 1101, extension # 321, who said he was ' level 3' and knew about my call to ' Mary' who was 'level 1'. He told me the same thing pay $ 189 and it will be fixed. I called Microsoft and they told me I did not have to do that. They sent me an e mail about the forum which was supposed to provide me with the information to fix the problem but I do not see that information anywhere. Is there a microsoft engineer out there who can help me? Are thee other steps that I can take.?

I like to sort my emails by date received.  I just reinstalled Windows 7 and Live Mail on my computer to clean up the clutter of background processes that was bogging my machine down.  Live mail does not allow sorting by date.  It now groups into conversations based upon the subject line.  This is not sastisfactory for me.  How can I get a straight date sort?
I am using my partners account to post this -

My iphone flashed up recently telling me that my hotmail password was incorrect (I hadnt changed it)
I then tried to log in online and couldnt
I submitted a form using this email address as my backup but the automated email said I hadnt provided sufficient info

I now can't access my emails and have no way of resetting my password (I have no idea why my password changed in the first instance!!)

Please help.

Mark
you have taken all my messages and reased them without my permit. I want them back my electric and all my bill are erased and folders
a few months ago I deleted a few emails from my "sent box"..I urgently need to recover these emails ...how can I do this???
I recently gave my niece my old laptop and all of the login information was the same as my hotmail account (not the one I used to set this up). I tried to login this morning and it says my account does not exist. Since I have been using this account since the early 90's I know this is not true. I also logged in on Friday evening, so it shouldn't be showing inactive. I really need to be able to access this account because I have business emails in it (I hope). Is it possible when she changed things to her needs that she may have reset the password or (God forbid) deleted the account? Please help!
Hello,

in Windows 8 with SkyDrive installed I could click on the icon and exit the app to pause sync.
When I need my bandwidth for responsive apps like say games I need to temporarily pause the eternal sync of Skydrives (big files, low speed).

It there any way to do it WITHOUT: A. Going to Metro and tweaking settings; B. without messing with Right-Button clicks on skydrive Folders.

Preferably skydrive.exe api calls to make shortcuts from to pause/resume syncing.

Please don't ask witch version of OS I have (6.3.9600) and don't tell me that smart elaborated mechanisms should be doing good qos, because they are now, answer please on the GIST of the question: API calls (required) and/or OTHER ways to toggle the syncing (preferably with CONTINUING where it left off - so if a file is 1GB and we pause on 900 MB - we should not be reuploading 900 again (difference between shutdown and pause/resume).

I changed the sync on my i-phone to never delete because of information on the forum, but I still can't get any entries more than two weeks old.

Is it possible to retrieve them? Microsoft outlook apparently has an "auto-archive" feature, but I can't find a similar one in Outlook.com. The tools and options on it are extremely limited. Thank you.
