How many friends can I have in Messenger ? I have several with whom I cannot get in contact with. Why ?

I add a new friend in messenger and I can see some details like a photo, but we are not connected andcnnot see when thepersonis onloine, and we cannot chat.

Is there a limit of number of friends ?

 

Also, I cannot see the sky drive of some friends.  I could do that before MSN changed to Outlook.

I can open my e-mails in messenger but i cannot reply to them. whats wrong?

i used to be able to access my windows messenger but recently i am not able to as it says my messenger may have been compromised. How will i be able to access my messenger account again???

I used to be able to access my windows messenger very easily except 2 days ago . Everytime i try to sign in, i get a message that my account may have been compromised .

Why doesn’t my messenger contact’s status stay in sync with the mesenger service?

even though I am signed into messenger on my pc after a period of time my messenger contacts will not stay synced with the messenger service. It shows some contacts as offline when in fact they are onlone and vice verca. I constantly have to sign out and back in to get updated contact status. Any help?
