Have Windows 8.  Got Windows Live mail because I prefer this one to Mail from Windows 8.  My problem is when I respond back on a e-mail the response goes thru Mail instead of Windows Live Mail.  Windows Live Mail got more feature than Mail from Windows 8 Start Screen.  My Windows Live Mail is install thru the desktop.  I can receive and send e-mail.  Only when I hit reply does it goes thru Windows 8 Mail.  Any way to stop this behaviour?

I recently transferred all of "My Documents" to my new Windows 7 computer. This folder contained many of my IMPORTANT Outlook Express saved emails. These emails now appear as Windows Live Mail. In order to now open these email files I downloaded Windows Essentials as instructed. For a day or 2 everything is fine, and these emails can be opened. Then I get the message that Windows is unable to open them. I subsequently remove Windows Essentials and re-download it again. This process has been repeating itself for over a week and I have no idea why. Being less than computer savvy it is very frustrating! Any assistance you can provide correcting this repeating problem is appreciated.
I use photo galleries slide shows for my screen saver and desktop backgrounds.  Lately the images are very large and do not fit the screen or they display in multiples!  I have tried every place I can think of and nothing changes.  Please advise and thank you

Original title: Windows Live Mail service stopped for a few seconds; when resumed, all my e-mail boxes were wiped clear, including storage folders. How do I recover???

Windows Live Mail momentary service interruption resulted in all my e-mail boxes and all storage folders wiped clear. Tried resolving with my server and Microsoft tech service by phone, no results.

Please help....

I have been unable to send an email with an attachment since the latest version of MSN was installed.  Internet Explorer just "shuts down."

I have used MSN to send photos to my children, as well as share genealogy files with relatives, for at least a decade, with no problems until this year.

I have tried to check options and preferences, but cannot find anything related to attachments.

Or is this a problem with Internet Explorer?  I also use an sbcglobal.net account, and with the latest update there is a special routine that must be used to upload an attachment to an email.  I cannot find this same option with MSN Messenger.
