I am having trouble with my live mail. I click on in programs and my mail comes up. At the same time another window opens asking me to sign in although I can already read my mail, so I click 'cancel' in the window and carry on. Sometime the messages won't
open or the screen goes 'hazy' and on logging off a notice comes up telling me that another program is running in the background and causing a problem so I force shutdown as instructed, but it happens all over again when I log on to windows. Please help if
you can.
Can't send any emails out of any of my Live accounts.
Emails come in though.

So I need to deactivate my twitter account but I can't do so unless I have access to my old hotmail account which I lost the password to a long time ago. When trying to recover my hotmail account password, it kept telling me that windows did not recognize
my windows live id or that the id does not exist.
After talking to a windowslive chat agent, he instructed me to set up an identical email address (hotmail account) as my old one so that I could access the emails being sent from twitter. So I did this but I am still not receiving emails from twitter.
So my question is how do I access my old hotmail account? Or is there any way that I can connect the new hotmail account I made to the old one so that I can receive the emails from twitter ?

I recently removed Explorer and Windows Live from my mothers computer. Unknowingly it seemed to delete my outlook.com account in some way shape or form. I need to have this recovered.
I have tried to use " lost password" option. Nothing!!!
Error message is "account does not exist"
It's only been about 4-5.

I use Windows 7 and Windows Live Mail. Two e-mail addresses(@ Tiscali) are receiving and sending mail with no problem BUT I have just added another email to my account (@ Talktalk) and keep getting the error messages Server Error 0x800CCC90, Server response
-ERR Authentification failed and Windows Live Mail Error ID 0x800CCC92. Help please - I know that the password I put in is correct.
Here I go again about this lousy mail program.
I had problems with outgoing mail that has been resolved with your help.
Now a few days later I have lost all contacts, I get a message saying my "email" address has no contacts.
Completely wiped out.
Any clues???
By the way I am using Windows Live Mail 2011. Is there a later version?
I lost all my data on my entire computer because the repair man had to do a complete restoration. Thank goodness I have Carbonite, and that back up is re-populating my computer.
However, unlike the person above, my issue is with Windows Live. I signed in and nothing is there. I did sign in as recently as a a few weeks ago, right before winter break ( I teach online and these newsgroups were actual classes I was teaching).
I thought Windows live was all web based, and so I would expect my newsgroups to be there.
1. How do I access the newsgroups on the internet, shouldn't they be there?
2. What is the relationship between my pc and the windows live application account?
I recently purchased a Windows tablet. Since configuring to receive emails through Windows Live I can no longer access my Yahoo emails on my laptop or phone. I can still pick up ntl and Gmail without problems on the other devices. I have reset my Windows
password which I understand should be the same for Windows Live Mail as well as Windows. Registration. My laptop claims that I am using the wrong password despite the fact that I can send and receive from ntl and Gmail. I am getting a Ox800CCCOE, detailing
protocol POP3, Port 995, SSL yes, Socket error 10060 as the error message when I log on.
Anyone have any solutions?
