WLMail 2012 – import from saved Recovered mails….

I see that there is import from Outlook Expres, windows Live Mail, and Windows Mail.  The emails I have to import are located in folders like:

Cannot open Windows Live Mail-Error 0x80041161-Cannot open Windows Live Mail

Hello,

Have been fighting this error since I updated my computer, I cannot open Windows Live Mail, so Don't ask me to open it to chance something.

I have done EVERYTHING I was told in the previous post, along with everything everyone else was told on this forum.

 

Repaired/reinstalled 4 times

adjusted settings

turned off firewall.

 

Please, if you are not a Microsoft forum moderator, do not answer my post. I am tired of everyone guessing how to fix my problem.

Error 0x800488FE with Windows Live Mail

I have been having troubles accessing my hotmail through Windows Live Mail, I can access my gmail fine.
When I attempt to sign in through the web (not the Windows Live Mail client) I get the error message, "We've noticed some unusual activity in your Hotmail account".

So I attempted the account recovery process:
  • The email that I have listed to email the security code to is no longer in use
  • The web page that asks for account confirming questions (last 5 email sent to user/last 5email subjects) but did not yield even though I entered all the right information since I can see my last emails through the Windows Live Mail client
  • I tried calling Microsoft support via phone and they told me to post here

I would like to regain access to my email any help would be appreciated.

I have a new Surface Rt that I like very much.  However I am having problems with Microsoft Accounts.  When I got this thing, I didn't know I had and old account, but it came I think from Messenger that I never used.  I wanted to share my wife's skype account, but it won't let me do this, I guess since Skype is now inextricably linked to Microsoft and she has therefore her own account.  In trying to do that I closed the old account after having to change the password like a million times.  I have an obtuse but standard for me password that I wanted to use.  When I created the new account I tried to alias it to my Charter email account which I have been able to maintain as my only really active email account.  It won't let me, says it's already in use, but as far as I know only by the account I closed.  I want my own email name back, but I have no idea what has it tied up or how to get it released.

I recently received an email and have attempted to reply several times but I continue to receive this error email back:

''This is an automatically generated Delivery Status Notification.
 
Delivery to the following recipients failed.''

I don't understand why i am receiving this and I am looking for some guidance.

Sent mail not appearing in conversation view in Windows Live Mail 2012

The conversation view does not include mails that I have sent via reply. Why would I want to view just one side of a conversation? Either something is not setup right or this feature is not working properly. If I drag my sent messages to my inbox, they show up. Any thoughts?

Unable to Register Domain Name with Live

I am trying to register my domain for e-mail but I keep getting this error message.

This domain name can't be used because it contains a protected word or inappropriate language. Please contact support if you feel this is not the case.

The domain name is  www.firstcreditcommerce.com
It is a wordpress blog.

Can someone help me authorize the domain for mail?

Transfer e-mail addresses from Windows Live Mail to Outlook 2010

I have exported my e-mails folders from Windows Live Mail (in Microsoft Essentials 2012) to Outlook 2010 on my laptop (this was the final stage of a transfer of these folders from Outlook Express on my old PC). 

The export of the folders was successful except for one thing.  The display in the 'From' column in Outlook 2010 shows the recipient's chosen display name only.  For example it shows 'Fred Smith' rather than 'Fred Smith<*** Email address is removed for privacy ***>'.   This means that if I try to reply to one of these mails in Outlook 2010 it will not work as 'Fred Smith' is not a valid e-mail address.  The display names and e-mail addresses are both shownd in Windows Live Mail when you open an e-mail there, although the email address is greyed out.   The email addresses in Windows Live Mail currently are not stored as Contacts, so I have not exported Contacts from there to Outlook 2010.


Any thoughts as to how I solve this?  There are a large number of e-mails so I don't really want to have to go and set up Contact details for each e-mail in Windows Live Mail and then transfer them.  Thanks.

Delete Windows Live Mail Contacts – Already tried everything

Hello,

I'm an old user of Windows Live Mail, I've been using it for as long as I remember. My question is regarding the contacts that have been created through all this years. I still have contacts of the time I was 7! I want to erase them. I tried to follow the advices of "selecting and erasing" and the eliminate button grays out.

Now, something REALLY IMPORTANT TO MENTION: My account is not linked to facebook, nor twitter, nor anything. But the contacts from my account cannot be erased.
