Windows Live Mail

Having logon issues with WLM.  My interent provider (Charter) had me change my server from POP to IMAP.  Did this through the Account icon on the WLM.  NOW I have MORE problems than before.  One being that it ADDED a new email account, well, actually now I have three because I kept doing the same thing trying to get the logon issue to go away.  I still have the logon issue and now even more problems with error messages referencing the POP server and having to WAIT for 60 seconds to try again?? So confused and of course, there's no tele support from Microsoft.  She referred me here. So, what do I do now?  Any suggestions?

Insight/TWC in Live Mail

Insight is to disappear in June. I have added a TWC Live Mail account and am currently using both. When tha Insight server ceases, will my legacy saved "Insight" emails disappear or will they continue to reside on my computer within Live Mail?

Windows Live mail won’t download all messages

Over the last few months, Windows Live Mail has not been downloading all email messages. It will download most of them, except for one or two. These will stay on my IMAP server along with the others (none are deleted from the server) and I can see them on webmail. They also get downloaded to my iPhone no problem. I've missed some important emails this way so now have to double-check webmail or my phone regularly to make sure Live mail hasn't neglected to download something. There is no consistency in which emails are not downloaded. It's happened from at least four different recipients, all of whom I've received emails from into Live Mail successfully, sometimes on the same day as the ones that won't download. Is there anyway to make sure Live Mail downloads everything? Thanks.

I accedentally deleted all the sent messages on my Live Mail account. Can they be recovered?

Multiple Deletes

I use Windows Live Mail with Windows 7.  I have not found a way to delete messages other than one at a time.  All other e-mail programs permit multiple deletes.  Is there a way to do this on my e-mail?

Is it possible to send Meeting/Calendar invitations?

I have a standard goDaddy.com email account, which I use to get mail with WindowsLiveMail Version 2012 (Build 16.4.3505.0912).


Is it possible to send Meeting/Calendar Invitations to other people using this? Or do I need to upgrade to a Hosted Exchange mailbox?

outlook e-mail doesn’t work

After believing e-mail sent, turned out it's just sitting in OUT box; cannot access that at all.  In other folders, all I see are spinning circles--no saved e's.  Need simple fix (obviously, right!?).  Never wanted windows 8.1, hate that I inadvertently installed--glad I uninstalled, but a lot of glitches remain.
