Suddenly I cannot compose new emails or reply to or forward mails I have received. I can receive. As soon as I hit a command button I get the message:

Problem has occurred while trying to open this message. Please try again.  Followed by: Error occurred replying to or forwarding this message.

This happens for both my MSN and Hotmail accounts.  However, it has not affected the other user on the same hard drive who is using the same Live Mail installation.

This started a few days ago.  The only update I received in that time was a security update for Microsoft .NET framework.  But I can't believe that would affect me and not the other user.

I already tried repairing Windows Live Essentials.  No help.

This torques me! I need to be able to get it working so I get send my tax return.

Any suggestions?

Thanks

Greg

where is the tools button on the windows live mail page?

everything I select the file goes blank and I get the message it is not my fault, but msn   it has gone on for 24 hours.

I keep getting this message.  Sometimes Windows Live will download 1 or 2 messages and then this pops up and nothing more happens.

How do I delete double and triple emails from windows live email?  HUGE THANKS!!!!!!

Laura

I was contacted - via phone by someone purporting to be from Live that someone in China and Japan had used my email address for illegal activities.  I don't trust anything like this -- has anyone else experienced it and what /can you report this to.

My wife has been using Mail in Vista.... and finds the Home Ribbon very bewildering since it contains many "function" Icons she never has a need for.

So I set up the Status Bar below the ribbon with those Icons she uses and minimised the ribbon.

However, the Status bar has very small Icons and no popup descriptors. Is there a way to either enlarge the Status Bar or Hide the unwanted ribbon Icons?

Hi,

I have several aliases in my Yahoo business mail. With Yahoo online, all emails to all aliases go into the same Inbox. Can I have the same with Windows Live - I would like to receive emails from all aliases into the same Inbox folder rather than creating separate folders for each alias. Thank you.
