I exported all my email accounts, folders and contacts before having to reinstall my operating system.

Now that it's installed, How do I import all the email addresses, folders and contacts.

please advise

Gregg

Hi, i really didn't think this would be such a hard thing to do but I've exhausted myself over the last 7 hours reading forum posts and tinkering myself

1) I have a logo

2) I have windows live mail

3) I have windows 8

4) I do not subscribe to outlook express

5) I would like my logo to appear automatically at the bottom of my sent emails just before my address and phone number etc

6) How for the love of Christ do i make this happen without sacrificing a virgin to a crocodile faced goat

My eyes now hurt from trying to make this work and i wish it was just hotmail again :(

Iv tried opening my mail in desktop mode going to the font settings for the signature but when i try dragging and dropping he logo i get the message telling me that my signature is too long.

I have tried to compress the jpeg file but the quality was poor.

The size of the file was 15kb

The size of the pic file i want to use is 35kb

I have Windows Live Mail (WLM) Desktop 2012 on several machines. My Windows 7 laptop has had it installed since they informed us that Outlook Express was being phased out several years ago, but I have updated it on each release (Version 2012 (Build 16.4.3522.0110)). On this machine, when you click on Contacts, it opens in the same window as the Mail program.  On a Windows XP box, I have installed this on a few days ago, when you click on Contacts, it opens in a separate Window (Version 2009 (Build 14.0.8117.0416)). I do not know if the versions make a difference, but was this feature removed as I would like to be able to go back and forth between my Inbox and Contacts without losing what I am reading. I use Alt+Tab to switch between apps, which is far more efficient than mouse clicking and trying to locate what you were, because all the lists reset themselves as you move from one window to the next. I have looked through the registry settings on each machine, but cannot find anything that would indicate opening Contacts in a separate window. Any help in this matter would be appreciated.

I had to reinstall Win7 and Windows Live Mail. Since then I can't get the Junk mail filter to work. I used to have it set to Low and it worked fine. This time I've tried Low and High and nothing is moved into the Junk folders. Any ideas?
Hi I sent a reply to a message this afternoon, but it doesn't show up in my sent folder.  The little purple reply arrow shows up on the original message in my inbox. I have had no issues with messages sent later.  How do I know if this message actually went?  I have searched every other folder and can't find it anywhere.  Where could it go?  Would be grateful for any help with this as I can't ask the recipient if they received it.  Thanks

Hi

I'm a new user to Live mail  I have just set up my btmail account up on Live mail but my folders do not appear in my mailbox?

When I delete a message in the message list of Windows Live Mail, a previous message is shown. I would like to change that to a more recent message showing. How might I do that?
I just did "restore" to my laptop. I was directed here to "trust this device". Not sure what I am supposed to do next(?)

I am getting a similar error:

Unable to send or receive messages for the Msn account. The connection to the server has failed.

Server: 'pop3.live.com'
Windows Live Mail Error ID: 0x800CCC0E
Protocol: POP3
Port: 110
