Problems setting up a hotmail account on my Blackberry

Hello,

I have just updated my Blackberry 9790 phone so that I can receive e-mails.

I have been able to get e-mails from a g-mail account but nothing from hotmail.

Under the e-mail setup options whenever I enter the e-mail address and the corresponding password on the section for windows live it states update failed.  It also does this the other option as well.  I have tried everything possible and spoken to my mobile phone provider but they have not been able to help me.  They say that Android phones are experiencing the same problem.

Is this just a functionality that we will no longer have from now on?

I have also read that Microsoft Messenger will no longer be active from tomorrow on Blackberry phones as well and have not received anything from Microsoft to say so.  I get a webpage link from my phone to a page on the Blackberry website, that does not load.

Please can Hotmail/Windows Live explain to me please what is going on and how this can be resolved?

How do I recover a deleted folder & sub folders in Windows Live Mail?

--> 1  All the folders & emails are still in my email on my phone... I have the names of the folders. I have not synced my phone, as I am afraid that I will then lose those folders again. I would appreciate help with this matter, as there are important emails I need, for reimbursement, (over $200), amoung other issues, topics, & concerns.

Should I forward all the emails from the phone to my other email account & then forward them again back to LIVE MAIL?

I am having trouble using windows live mail.  the problem is that when trying to compose new message it indicate " A problem has occurred while trying to open this message

I followed a lot of suggestion from this site and other none helped.

I decided to completely uninstall windows essential 2011 ( including all email and account information).

then re installed the software. even before setting account information, trying to compose a message responded with the same problem message.

Help, needed.

I have been running Windows Live Mail on Windows 7 for some time now and all has been well, over the last week I have been able to log on and receive mail

but not send it, I keep getting the following message

(Your server has unexpectedly terminated the connection. Possible causes for this include server problems, network problems, or a long period of inactivity.

 Subject ''
Server: 'smtp.talktalk.net'
Windows Live Mail Error ID: 0x800CCC0F
Protocol: SMTP
Port: 25
Secure(SSL): No

Socket Error: 10053)

 But I am using the Laptop daily and am connected to the internet as I can receive mail and Log onto Google all the time.

An E-mail address direct to support would also help.

Could anyone assist Please.

Unable to access attachments

Sometimes attachments come through and sometimes they don't! It's random and I've gone through the Security Settings and have it completely open at the lowest settings and these attachments still aren't able to come in. In my quickview window, the little paper clip is visible so I know there's an attachment but when I open it - nothing! Please help!

Windows Update KB2919355 causes computer to power down when attempting to come out of sleep mode

I have a Windows 7 computer upgraded to windows 8.1 and all was working well until I installed update KB2919355.  I can put my computer to sleep, but when I click the space bar the power light briefly turns from orange to the familiar blue and then shuts down completely.  I restored to an earlier date and confirmed I could successfully wake it from sleep.  I then installed only the aforementioned update and the problem resurfaced.  I hope I am not the only one and a fix will be available.  Meanwhile I am trying my best to insure this update does not get installed.

Adding an attachment to an email shuts down Windows Live Email

Windows Live Email suddenly started shutting down whenever I add an attachment or insert a picture to an email I want to send.  There is no warning or error message that comes on and I have changed nothing anywhere to cause this.  Appreciate any help I can get on this.

I have Windows 8.1 and hate the mail app.  I finally got the Outlook.com/Hotmail.com/Live.com web mail configured to get all of my e mail in one place, but I find the web mail very disappointing after being used to the Windows Live Mail program that I had on my Vista Laptop.  I downloaded Windows Live Essentials expecting to get the Windows Live Mail that I knew and loved, but found that it was not the same.  

Is there a way to get the older version of Windows Live Mail that will work on my Windows 8.1 OS??
