Unable to install Windows essential 2012 on windows 7 – Error 0x80070643

I have been having hard time upgrading to windows live essential 2012 on windows 7 pc. I have windows live 2011 installed and now I have done so many options that were told on the net, uninstalling, installing, repairing message store and so on, but so far has been unsuccessful. I get the following message, when I try to install the software.

Installation error 0x80070643

I have mcafee internet protection installed on my pc. I have tried installing after uninstallation of mcafee as well, but did not work.

Now my only option is to use other email client Mozilla thunderbolt.

I am technical and do any registry stuff and so on.

I will appreciate if somebody can help me to get this installed as it seems to funny that software from MS will have such a big issue with a MS os windows 7.

After installation and I get the above and if I open mail, then I am able to receive message, but can not reply or compose a new one.

Windows 8.1 update removed my windows live mail account.

How do I restore my windows live mail which was removed by a recent windows 8.1 update. When the update finished- poof- windows live mail was gone. Windows Essential 2012 is on my hard drive with, I suppose windows live mail, but how do I restore it. I have called Microsoft, talked to 6 different people buy no one knew how to answer my question. I have tried many remedies found online but none have worked so far. Any answers that work??

“an error has occured” is the message that comes up when I try to delete a message on Windows Life Messenger. What’s up?

The message comes up "an error has occurred" when I try to delete a message or open an e-mail on Windows Live Messenger.  What's up?  We have had no end to problems with Windows 7 since transferring from Windows XP.  Beginning to be very sorry that we made the change.

Windows Live Mail Sending

I am using Windows Live Mail on my Windows 8.1. I tried to send a email with a video which was too big and now it continually tries to send the same email.

I've tried going off line but don't see an outbox to delete this email!! I've rebooted the computer but it still tries to send this email as soon as I open Live Mail.

Can anyone help please??

Windows live mail inbox problem

When I open a particular message in my Windows live mail inbox,  then when I click X to close that particular message, it completely closes my entire mail inbox and I then have to click on the mail inbox icon to open it up to see all other messages.   How can I fix this?

I can't send email (can receive) with live mail (just started last week off and on at first). I have checked with my internet provider and the settings are all correct - I can send an email through their web email site (not blacklisted). I have ran Norton and malware scans. I uninstalled and reinstalled live mail and still won't work. I have ran it through the Windows troubleshooter. Running out of options...

I used to be able to set the interval when WLM would check for new emails.  That setting has been removed from properties.  Does anyone know how to set this or why that feature has been removed?

Windows 7 platform

Windows Live Mail 2012

I have reinstalled the program and restarted.

I have put in my passwords.

I can sync the email addresses I have, but I cannot send any emails without crashing the program.

This has been an issue for about 2 days.

I have not downloaded any new programs.
