I set up Windows Live Mail 2012 on the Windows 8 OS but it doesn't work

I created account, choose manually configures server setting and choose Hotmail. Not work, can not sent the Email.

Unable to send or receive messages for the Hotmail account.

I can not open Windows Live. It starts to open then has the error message titled Windows Live has stopped working. It says "A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the programme and notify you if a solution is available" which it does not close or notify you of a solution. How do I fix it without losing any emails already downloaded.

I have been trying to get microsoft to unlock my account.  The reason why is this account is what i used for some forum registration.  I need to see which forum is tied to this account. 

Instead of helping-  Below is the email from microsoft.  Basically telling me "screw you" all in name of protecting my information.  I failed to understand how locking my account with my personal information in it is helping me to wipe the record clean?  How will open a new account help me?  Final?

Look at forum moderator response.  Has any of them really follow the link and see how confusing that is?  Pointing to a link that does not solve actual problem.

How classic is this?  Going around in circle.  I can't reset my account because information has been totally changed.  The reference email address is not even my email address.   WHICH PART OF ISSUE I NEED TO EXPLAIN OVER AND OVER AGAIN.  Account is hacked.  I want my account back so i can wipe clean.  No wonder Microsoft has been going downhill.  Because of infinite loop.

Two days ago I began to experience a problem where I can't open a new e-mail to compose and send. I tried to repair windows essentials, no difference, so uninstalled essentials and now cannot re-install it. I get the message.."This app cannot run on your PC.  Check with the software publisher." I am using Windows 8.1.
I keep getting outgoing messages held up in my outbox.  I am getting the following message:

Any help on how to fix this would be appreciated.

I am unable to sign-in to LIVE using my current Windows ID and gamertag. I changed it a few months ago and haven't been on Windows LIVE for a while. Somehow, I can sign in using my old LIVE email and password, but it is outdated (the played games, achievements). And when I signed in I received this error message.

"Your LIVE profile does not match the Windows Live ID you entered. Continuing will delete and replace your local LIVE profile. Do you want to continue?"

This seems strange, and it could be as simple as pressing yes, but I'm very hesitant to do so, as I don't want to risk deleting my current Windows ID or gamertag (even though that seems unlikely). It seems as though saying yes to that question will delete the old, outdated version of my gamertag (and the old Windows ID), but I'm just not sure. 

My orange/ee emails were downloading fine to Livemail in essentials 12, suddenly it has started skipping some and downloading others, there is no discernible pattern it will take some and leave some from the same sender with the same subject.

Not sure if TWC has changed anything in the last 3 months or so but my email was working fine prior to that.  Since then I've been getting by using TWCs Web Mail.

I have an account that i used exclusively for craiglist.  

But recently it won't allowing me to login.  I am keep on getting the error below.

"It looks like someone else might be using your account"

I tried to reset through automated form.  But keeps on telling me not enough information.

How can i get microsoft support with a live person instead of dummy robot.
