Hi Folks,
I have the latest version of Windows Live Mail on both of my computers, using the same email address. How do I restore my photo as in my image.
It does show when I access OneDrive & in my profile.
upon making a purchase to download new software for anti virus. i could only read half of the email when i went into windows live mail to read it but had no problem reading it when i opened the email via msn hotmail. can you help me with this problem i'm having as i wish to use the windows live to read my email as i have set it up this way !
Original title: Having trouble reading email
Windows 8.1 Pro
WLM 2012 16.4.xxxx.xxxx
After a system refresh I had to reinstall all the applications. After reinstalling WLM, I could find all the previous messages in the users' subfolders. However, when I re-imported them into WLM, all of them displayed the wrong recipient, meaning the recipient is the same as the sender.
That happens on the main pane, under the TO column. Opening the email message I can see the correct recipient on the TO line.
How can I see again the correct recipients on the TO column?
I am beside myself with this issue and request help from the Community.
I have a client running Windows 7 - he uses Windows Essentials 2011 - the email part of it as an email client.
For no reason at all it suddenly will not place messages received in the Inbox. The messages flashes for a brief moment as if it is being placed in the inbox then disappears from sight. Its not in the Junk folder and its not in the deleted items folder. Its NOWHERE !
I have tried:
Restoring the system to an earlier date.
Repairing Live Essentials using the Repair Utility.
Uninstalling and resinstalling the program.
Deleting the users inbox using Windows Explorer and drilling down to the store folder.
Deleting the account and recreating the account.
ANY and ALL assistance is greatly appreciated.
Thank you

From reading the posts regarding the subject upgrade, I realize that the upgrade can be made without much difficulty. My question is: Will the emails in Windows Mail Live 11 be lost in the transition to Windows Live Mail 12 ( making it necessary to start anew in Windows Mail 12), or will they transfer seamlessly into Windows Live Mail 12 with the same configuration? I would appreciate any input to resolve the issue. Thank you.
