Question about Outlook Express

Windows Live Mail 2011 Version 2011 (Build 15.4.3555.0308) / Windows 7 Home Premium SP1

So I'm having this weird issue with a friends email account. They thought it was an issue with the computer so they asked me to look at it.

Using WLM to access 3 email accounts 2 @verizon and 1 @msn.com.

Everything was working fine up till about 2 weeks ago. All of a sudden the msn account could not log on anymore via WLM.

I have changed the password and can log in to Outlook.com using this password, but still am being told it is incorrect by WLM. 

I added the account again using POP3 settings and then again with automatically provided  HTML settings. Nothing I try works.

I cannot figure out what is wrong. 

Both Verizon accounts work fine and I added MY @live.com account and it works fine. 

I even DL'd Thunderbird and the @msn account does not work their either.

Has something changed recently that would cause a security block on mail clients for @msn.com accounts?

Any advice would be appreciated.

I have received this error message which is different codes that the one  you have previously posted on.

I also would like to know if I have to delete my email and add it again will I lose my folders which I have about 15 with a lot of saved emails.  How would I be able to save this if deleting would also remove these.

Hi I am having trouble with my Windows 8.1 mail app, It wont show any mail for my email account registered to my Microsoft Account. Even though I can see mail on from my google mail account.

It says on the screen (No messages from the past three days. To get older messages go to settings) but no matter what I try I cant get any mail.

Is there anything I should check.

Or how can I check my incoming mail server setting on this account.

It seems to be just this registered account that is the problem.

Thanks for any help with this it is sending me slowly MAD.

I am trying without success to install Windows Essentials 2012 on a Windows 7 system.

I try to run the program wlsetup-web.exe frfom the Microsoft Windows Essentials web page. I get a small blue "Wiondows Essentials 2012" window which tells me "trying to install...." After 30 secs I get the message "Done! You have the latest version of Windows Essentials". However there are no short-cuts or references to Windows Essentials or any of its components in the start menu.  The "programs and features" list via Control Panel does not list the installation, and even Revo Unibstaller cannot find it. When I try to install Windows Essentials 2011 instead I get the message that a more recent version of Essentials is already installed. So it is supposed to be installed, won't run, won't uninstall and prevents me using an older version.

What's going can ?  Can you help please ?   Thanks.

When he goes to forward an email, it will occasionally open the email up twice, which isn't a huge deal it's just more annoying than anything. I thought maybe there was some malware or other junk that could be causing it so I ran MBAM and got everything cleaned up but it's still happening. Any other thoughts on what could cause this?
