Hi
Have had trouble with my account and have therefore opened a new one.
I don't want to quickly remove the old a/c from my windows essential live.
I have Windows live essentials mail on my laptop. I check the mail in the old account but when I try to sign in with my new ID it tells me that this ID or password doesn't exist???
I have obviously tried it many times and indeed I am logged on here, typing this with my new ID so it obviously exists, but Windows essentials on my laptop does recognise it.
I have even uninstalled the program and then reinstalled it again but still the same thing happens.
This is really inconvenient and awkward, what can I do please?
Many thanks for any help
OT: Messages are not being sent.
When I try to send messages, the messages get stuck in the outbox and this is the error that shows up:
The host '*** Email address is removed for privacy ***' could not be found. Please verify that you have entered the server name correctly.

Windows Live Mail Error ID: 0x800CCC0D
Protocol: SMTP

Secure(SSL): No
Socket Error: 11003
However, when I log on to Eastlink Webmail, the messages, including the messages with attachments, go through with no problem using the exact same outgoing server that Windows Live Mail says cannot be found. After reading other posts, not being able to find outgoing servers from a number of different service providers seems to be an ongoing issue with Windows Live Mail. I'd PREFER to use Windows Live Mail, but I now have Eastlink Webmail on my desktop as a backup, so it's not a critical situation for me. Anyone have any idea why this issue persists with Windows Live Mail?

OT: e-mail groups.
Using microsoft live mail, when I send a note to a group, some of them do not receive it. I have checked and the addresses are correct in the groups. If I send individual messages to one or more persons, it works fine, only when I send to a group. I downloaded updates to microsoft live mail and still have the problem. I would appreciate some help on this.
Thanks in advance.
