I need help with an Email I received supposedly from Microsoft but I am a bit sceptical about the validity of it.  Could you please advise if this is Genuine. Below is a copy of the body of the mail:

Dear Subscriber 

We have detected that your email account is at a high risk of virus transmission and deactivation. 

Microsoft Windows Update will verify and update your email security. Please click here to verify and secure your email account with our updated Microsoft Windows Protection to avoid your email account deactivation. 


By signing into your appropriate email domain, free auto update and protection will be complete.

SkyDrive ‘stuck’ in file update process

Hello,
I've surveyed a number of the entries re. SkyDrive getting 'stuck' while uploading files, but haven't gained much insight from the responses about how to correct the problem. . .  one of my computers appears to be 'stuck' in the course of updating and has been for over a day; a contributing factor might have been that I accessed one of the files being updated via another device before I realized that an earlier file update hadn't been completed from the first computer.  To complicate matters, when I checked Task Manager SkyDrive does not appear to be running, although when I check the Skydrive folder several files and folders appear to be in the process of updating.  What can I do to resolve this situation?

Receiving someone else’s emails

Hi all, 

As above; same email address, and personal details of the other user in the email. Only the one at the mo but still.  This is either a security breach by Outlook, or a hack? I'm not v knowledgeable about these things so any advice would be great! I couldn't find any point of contact to help and I'd rather not reset the account, but could always do the password.

Trouble with Email

I've had a MSN account for about  4... maybe 5 years now. 

As of this last week, I haven't been able to send any emails via my Hotmail account.  Nobody can help me fix this so far, and I have some urgent emails I haven't been able to reply to because I can't send any new emails, nor respond to emails sent to me.  I'd appreciate any help anyone can offer!

Hello, I have outlook on my computer and all of a sudden a couple of weeks ago, it stopped allowing me to send emails...I receive them fine, but it just stops working and shuts down the application when I try to send an email from outlook...plus, when I open outlook, the application indicates that it is disconnected...I have to force it to be connected...I don't know how to restore the program...can anyone help me...please.

First of all this site sucks.  It is impossible to find a person to ask a question to if you cannot find it online.


Second- when I do searches in my mail NOTHING comes up between May and October.

Long time to sync

I have 40GB of data on my skydrive cloud storage.

I am synchronizing my computer with the skydrive storage once a day and normaly it takes few minutes to update.

After 10 days of not synchronizing my data with the skydrive it now takes skydrive over one week to look for changes and the cloud is not yet updated.

Is there a problem with my skydirve or it is normal for skydrive to act like this?

trouble sending attachment

I need help.  Everytime I try to send an attachment, such as a word document,  with my outlook email, a box comes up with an error message.  Up until one month ago, I had no problem.  Please help me.

skydrive could not upload my videos

I delete a SkyDrive app in my windows phone and again I install it failed to  upload my videos .what is the reason for that happening.And how to solve it this problem .could you please tell me
