Is the deleted folder automatically cleaned out?  I can't find old emails that I've deleted, some are within 30 days.
My partner set up a hotmail account and has forgotten password and secret question.  What we can see by the send email link is that there is a digit missing so when they send the re-set password it's not coming to us.  How can we access his account? 
OUTLOOK  2009 CRASHED NO LONG RECEIVING EMAILS LOST ALL FOLDERS AND FILES
Ever since I installed 8.1 and have the mail tile on the Metro UI set to retrieve my live.com and outlook.com email that works fine but when I use Internet Explorer to go to those accounts I get the list of what's in my inbox but can't open any of the messages.  There is a little line on the bottom that says another program (presumably the mail tile? set to down load these messages, and have placed them in a POP folder, but they are not there.  BTW, the outlook and live mail web pages work normally using the Chrome browser?  Is there a way I can use the mail tile but also open and view these messages on the web pages through Internet Explorer?

Is it currently possible to integrate/sync the categories I have created for the contacts in my Desktop installation of Outlook with the "People" contact manager of Outlook.com?  Any information/suggestions appreciated.

My Outlook does not appear to be synchronizing correctly. When I open the Outlook program on my desktop in the morning it will say I do not have any new emails. After two or three hours it will populate with emails from the day before and that morning. When I check my online gmail account everything is working correctly, it just takes my Outlook program a few hours to synchronize. I called Google Enterprise Support and they referred me to you. This happened two weeks ago and Enterprise Support had me re-set up my outlook email. That worked for a week, but now it is back to lagging again. Please help!
