When sending emails using my ALIAS the recepient can see my primary email address next to my alias. Whats the use of using an alias if this happens. How can we send emails with Aliases ONLY? ANY HELP OUT THERE

I've set up mac mail (v7.0) with my @hotmail.com account using imap following the steps described in this thread

But after a few weeks only 72 messages are showing in my inbox (whereas there are thousands there on the web) one message is from a few weeks ago, about 30 messages from last month and the rest from 2011.

The sent, junk and trash folders appear to be up to date, so it is only the inbox that is causing problems.

Any suggestions on how to resolve this would be appreciated

My office was installed yesterday and i tried to set up my outlook and the test mail went fine and delivered. latter the outlook refuses to work again saying 'the connection to microsoft exchange is unavailable. outlook must be online or connected to complete this action.' when i click ok, it will take me me to a box which says 'you must provide the name of your microsoft exchange server and mailbox above.  I used POP mail to set up the outlook and not microsoft exchange server. please advise what i should do
Yahoo has sent an email to my *** Email address is removed for privacy *** account but I can't see it, it's not up to date for me to see.
The message says: 
We've sent information about resetting your password to your recovery email address.

How do I find someone's hotmail address in Outlook??  
I have two Windows 8 phones and neither is syncing with Outlook.com. I receive new emails on my phone, but when they are deleted off Outlook.com they stay on my phone. I hit sync on the phone and it says the email is up to date, but they still remain.

I have had Skydrive for several month working fine. I am saving all documents to the skydrive folder to have a full cloud backup and accessibility from anywhere. It has worked perfectly, with Skydrive automatically synching everything any time I am starting/online with my computer. I have never had to manually log into Skypdrive for every session. 

For a few weeks now skydrive is not logging in automatically and asking me for my credentials at the start of a session. What is worse, it is giving me the 'Start working with Skydrive' (or similar, do not remember the exact wording) pop-up as if I had not installed Skydrive locally yet. I have to click through the routine with skydrive noticing that there is already a skydrive folder. Lastly, skydrive will then log out at some point in my session and these popp-ups return all the time while my backup is not working properly. 

I have ignored the issue for a while until my lenovo's motherboard blew and I was stranded for days without access to my data. Not ideal. 

Please advise what to do, thank you

I have a 27 GB plan with sky drive.  I recently undated windows to 8.1 but syncing on skydrive is extremely slow.  I left the laptop on overnight to that the upload could be complete.  In the space of over 8 hours, only 2 files had uploaded.  None of the files are larger than 250 MB. 
I have tried the following:
  1. restarting Windows. 
  2. closing skydrive from task manager and restarting it

Please advice.
