I tried to add a outlook email acct to my windows live mail client program.

I followed the steps called for.  A message "....synchronizing this account.... has been on my screen for over an hour. 

I cannot receive from my outlook.com email account using the windows live mail client.

Another email account I have works fine with windows live mail client program.
