We run domains.live.com to manage our family domain emails. *** Email address is removed for privacy *** as an example. My son went to log in and got the message "youve lost access to your email, the inbox your using is no longer available." So I log into domains.live.com under my name, and all four accounts are there, inlcuding my sons. What gives? Try a bunch of things, I give up, delete his account, and recreate it, same email, same password. Resynch his laptop outlook, and all good.

A week later, that same thing happens all over again? the Question is why does this keep happening????

A side affect, my son goes to play xbox live, wont let him login. (With his new working email) go to xbox live website, conform his new email address, and bang, it says creat a xbox live account. This odd, but I do, and now he has a new gamer account. Not good!! Here is the interesting security issue.

If I log him in with his email and new password, up comes the new gamertag, and all his old stuff is gone. BUT If I log him in using the same email address, but try and old password, it returns an error that the email is no longer available. XBox live support conforms that there are two completely different accounts, each with the exact same email!!!! NOT GOOD Microsoft. Xbox live support says never seen this before, and need to escalate, and they will be in touch.

In the meantime, my son has no Xbox Live gold family, and no email.

My second question, is does anyone know if userid synch between outlook.com, live.com xbox.com, xbox live.com, is robust and sound, or if it is flaky? There is way too much personal data in there me to continue if it is flaky.

Thanks for any assistance.
