I'm using Windows 8.1 and Windows LIve Mail. I've had a live mail and yahoo mail account working on it, it worked fine for the last 6 months, but recently the e-mails in my Yahoo inbox starts disappearing. I have about 1600+ e-mails in my inbox, and it suddenly reduces to 201 e-mails, keeping the latest e-mail and the oldest 200 emails. I've repaired Windows Live Mail, delete my Yahoo account and restated my Yahoo account on Windows Live Mail, it syncs back the 1600+ e-mails, but after a few days or even a while, the inbox returns to showing only 201 e-mails again. None of my e-mails are missing from my Yahoo mail, but they just keep disappearing in my Windows Live Mail programme. I have set it to show all mail, but still the problem persists. Tried deleting all the files in the Windows live mail folder hoping that it would regenerate, but the problem persists. Made copies of the e-mails, copied them back into the directory when they go missing, it didn't help.

The only clue I have is that sometimes the connection to Yahoo gets interrupted for no reason. My live mail works fine. Does anyone have a solution? I do not use Outlook express, and I don't have a POP account anywhere else. Hope someone could help me, I've been deleting and reassigning my account for more than 20 times and nothing helps... :/
