Hey there

Lots of discussions/questions about Error 0x800CCC0E here, but couldn't find one exactly like mine :

- Dell Laptop running Win 7 Home Premium

- running WLM 2012

- I have 5 different email accounts going through WLM, including Hotmail and Gmail

- all have been sending and receiving without problems for a few years

- 3 days ago, gmail stopped sending and receiving

- shows this error message :

Unable to send or receive messages for the Thebridgegroup (fish) account. The connection to the server has failed.

Server: 'pop.gmail.com'
Windows Live Mail Error ID: 0x800CCC0E
Protocol: POP3
Port: 995
Secure(SSL): Yes
Socket Error: 10060

- all others work fine

- Gmail works fine using the online interface

Been trying to fix it myself, but after 3 days and no results, I feel I have no choice but to post this question.

- I tried How can I resolve machine configuration issues in Windows Live Mail (it was suggested in one of the posts)

- but initpki.dll is not found, and I couldn't find a clear answer about what to do about it
