I've been using WLM 2012 on Win 8.1, as it looked closer to Outlook than the Mail app.
 
I wasn't signing in to my MS/Outlook account with WLM, as I don't use the Cloud much and had a load of Calendar events which were obviously stored locally. Then I tried signing in, and now whenever I sign out, all the events disappear. Surely you should be able to see your calendar when you are offline?

If I disconnect from the internet without actually signing out of WLM, I can close and open WLM again and the events are still there but this seems a dodgy work-around. Does anyone have an explanation?
