When I sign into WLM, I get a message, "your account has been blocked because of too many attempts to sign in with an incorrect email address or password."  There is no error code shown.  If I attempt to sign in with my correct Hotmail address and password, it will not accept it.  If I press "cancel", WLM opens and seems to work OK.  All I want to do is get rid of the message as it appears EVERY time I open WLM.  This just started about 3 weeks ago and WLM was fine before then.  I have made no changes other than updating Defender daily.

Outlook.com works fine as a standalone.  I can send and receive emails between WLM and Outlook.com.  My only problem is how to get rid of message every time I open WLM.

I have tried all of the MS recommendations, getting a code to reset my Microsoft/Hotmail password, uninstalling and re-installing WLM, etc., to no avail.  The message ALWAYS pops up when I open WLM.  Because Outlook.com works fine I don't believe my WLM account is really blocked -- its just the message that is in error.  PLEASE tell me how to get rid of it.
