Have used WLM 2012 since it appeared.  When Outlook.com stopped supporting it, I changed its folders from HTTP to IMAP and still use it.

Today (10-6-17), its "Delete" function changed!

How did it used to work? Pressing the red "Delete" X or the keyboard "Delete" key moved a message to the "Deleted" folder, where it could be returned to the Inbox.

Not any more!

Now, when I click the red "Delete" X or press the keyboard "Delete" key, the selected message vanishes! It doesn't move to the "Deleted" folder in WLM or the Outlook server. It just disappears, as in, gone from the face of the earth! Into the Twilight Zone. Never to be seen again!

Scary! What if I accidentally delete a needed message? Now, I can't recover it. Ever!

Any clue how this happened? Or how to fix it?
