I am want to know if I can safely delete lots of information in my "WindowsLiveMail.log - Notepad.  I searched here and found the same question was asked in 2012.  The problem for me is that if I understand the answers given, one person essentially indicated you could delete the information and another person indicated that if you do, you may cause all kinds of problems and it is best to be left alone.

How can I figure out which answer is correct?  Thank you for any help you may give me, my objective in wanting to delete the huge log is that I do not have any problems and would like to clean up and out all that information.  I have Windows 7.
