Hi, guys i'm new to windows 8.1 and i have questions about windows photo viewer

My windows photo viewer won't open at all, I changed it to default program but it always checked the wrong path which is D: while it's installed in C: . so, decided to make the "wrong path" folder that my windows photo viewer always checked. when i right click on the picture file and chose "open with", photo viewer.dll showed up. however, if i left click photo viewer.dll, it would go on loading circle and my explorer automatically closed.

i haven't use the photo viewer ever since the first time i bought my laptop. i always use photos. so, i don't know when was the first time it error and i just reinstalled my windows

My questions are:

1. How to fix this problem?

2. How do i change the photo viewer.dll path?

3. Does it have any connection with default install location? i changed the default installed location to D: right after i reinstall my windows. FYI, i could correct the other programs path but this one since i can't find windows photo viewer on start search

i hope i can get some answers, since photo viewer is not the only problems that my laptop has

best regards, lizz
